Well after 12 games we are 9 points better than last season and United are 9 points worse than they were. It's pleasantly surprising. I'm confident of a top 2 result.

Well at least he has better motivation skills than AVB.
Recently though he has pissed me off suggesting that it was the fans criticism that caused Ramseys bad form last year .

I don't think he was saying that at all. He was saying that he was fearful of playing him sometimes because the crowd would get on Ramsey's back, which they would. It was a fair comment to me.

Wenger conveniently forgetting of course... that a large part of his poor form was down to his insistence that he play as a winger or wide midfielder. It was no surprise that his form got better once back in his favoured position. :duh:

Nice statto fact by the commentator at the end of last night's game, AW will have managed Arsenal for 1000 games sometime in early 2014 and it will be over 500 since he last won a trophy. HALF!!!!!!!!

Still 100% against, but if for some reason some nebulous deity decides to finally set the record straight, by appearing to all and sundry on earth to cast aside all doubts who's the one true god, and then also decides to hear our prayers and bless his divine offspring Lord Arsene with the title come end of season, do we then all change our status to 'for'?

if that also will, UNbreak up the invincibles, UNsell nasari/song/fabregas/RVP etc., and UNdo the discontent for the F.A. cup and (*insert sponsor here*) other cup, then maybe....and thats a big maybe. otherwise i say the sun has set, ride off into it like a proud man and be gone.

i would think City and the chavs are down 6-9 too.

if we win the title this year, it will be down to other teams failings. for me, for Wenger to get out of Jail free he has to win 2 titles in the next three years plus the Champions League.

Otherwise our failure to compete in the League, Champions League and FA Cup for 8 years is also his legacy.

the thing is chavski, city and utd have only been dominant because we had a stadium to pay for(I know wenker did bullshit a bit about funds available)meaning we couldn't spend as much on players.theres always a team that for whatever reason slides away from dominance allowing another to take its place.one teams shortcomings or misfortunes is always the reason that another takes over, like i kinda said if we had stayed at highbury we may have well been champions a few more times but we moved and chavski took our place, this season we are fortunate that city chavski and utd are all having difficulties but we cant help it if we win the league just beacause of others misfortunes ,by default or not someone has to come out on top,it was our move to the space bowl that let Chelsea dominate,if we win the league this season which i don't think we will its not our fault that utd, chavski and city have had there problems, self inflicted i might add just like ours were moving to the emirates and having a massive bill to pay

Your expectations are insanely high. We've never achieved that level of success in the modern era. Not even the invincibles.

And also, comments like "if we win the title this year, it will be down to other teams failings" just shows how unreasonable some fans are. Even if we succeed, they'll turn it into a negative. It's pathetic (on offence    )

Even if we hadn't built a new stadium, and even if oil money hadn't come into the league, it would still be unreasonable. There's mitigating circumstances whether you like wenger or not. Don't let hate blind you :barscarf:

True. The negativity is so deeply ingrained that not even success can lift the gloom for them. :?

Clockenders post sums that up perfectly.
