Im pleased with how Theo has played in the last couple of games, certainly our best player on satureday.

It'll be interestin to see how he develops.

I think he's gonna do well.

I still think he needs more time before he can play up-front and i still think he would benifit greatly if he went on loan for afew months.. to make him stronger.

Sorry to bump up old threads.

But I think that Theo deserves some praise for his performances lately.
I think he is now worthy of a place in the starting line-up.

And he is certainly better than Eboue.

Back in the days when Henry , Pires and co would destroy most prem teams within the first half and go into the second with a 2 or more goal cushion someone like Theo who is low in confidence could come on and play without any pressure . Unfortunately nowadays we tend to be behind at halftime and are always chaseing the game ( even when we were top of the leauge ) .

Every bad pass , failed dribble , missed shot matters and it surely must be messing with the young lads head .

i thought he was our best player on saturday, agree he should be up front, but the time spent in midfeild is good for him to build up his strength and balance on the ball. i have to say that i think he is wasted on the left (to easy to read as he is always going to try and cut inside). he's is far better than eboue on the right anyway.

Theo will be a star, mark my words.

I was thinking about who would be player of the month for March and Theo was the only player that made a positive impression on me during those dark, dark days. That may just be cos he was the best of a bad bunch, but I think he looks far more confident now.

Theo improving every game.

He is only 19, and when he is 21 will start working to put on strength and weight. Under 21's at Arsenal concentrate on aerobic fitness.

He's starting to fulfill a huge potential.

Speed, sharpness, agility and above all creative player.

Think as fans we should back him, because he has everything needed to end up a devastatiing player...he just needs that strength and experience that will come over next 2 -3 seasons.

He is 70% of the player he can be.

Which at just 19, is not bad.

he does need to do some light bulking, but at his age if he pushes it he will only hamper the growth of his bones, which do not stop growing in many cases till 21
