Today's matches

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Poor result for both teams. Spurs actually managed to score twice but gave away piss-poor equalisers shortly after both times. Great result for United midweek and a happy hunting ground but despite getting back into it twice just didn't threaten to kick on and win it. Particularly poor result after throwing away 2 points late on at Cardiff last week.

am i the only one not slightly concearned with liverpool?

genuinely think they don't have a good enough squad to last the entirety of the league. i know we're not full of bergkamps either, but they do seem quite a few players short of being title contenders.

Their squad is gash. They have a world class striker and another good striker and when they're injured or have an off day they don't have a single player who will stand up and win them points consistently. Progress for them would be finishing above Spurs and putting in a sustained challenge for 4th.

We're talking about a team who for years now have been finishing 10 or 12 points off 4th, they haven't made anything like the improvements needed to go from that to title-winners.

Just read on the beeb website that Hull City owner thinks fans who sing City till I die can...and these are his exact words about their fans .."Die as soon as they want"  :banghead: :banghead:

What a :censored:

All because they happen to object to him changing their name which they've held for over a hundred years.

It's because of :censored: like him that I worry about club ownership in this country.

Can you imagine if Usmanov took over and wanted to call us Real Arsenal Fc or Lokomotiv Arsenal or some other bo**ocks. :( If he owns the club out right, what's to stop him?

Hull 1-0 up against the red dippers'

I'm with you BG, think with Sturridge out for 2months, Suarez up on his own against the bigger teams will probably become a frustrated player and resort to type..biting,diving,dirty fouls etc,

Beyond him Coutinho's good but injury prone. Moses is just slightly better than the forehead and Sterling is too busy being in court for doing a Prodigy to become any good. Gerard's too old to carry them for a full season.

Another fantastic result for us. Both now out of the title race IMHO - I don't see them overhauling all of the top 3.

I was worried about Liverpool now I'm not - it's a 3 way race between us chavs n city.

You have to wonder whether united plc will accept them not qualifying for the champions league. With rvp carrying two injuries and they play again on Wednesday I think they're gonna struggle against everton n drop more points.

Why Stevie me ?

Btw they've lost Sturridge for 6-8 weeks. Another bonus for us.
