The safest prediction of the lot is that a tight game under the floodlights, perhaps with a late goal and a bit of controversy will lead to this season's biggest chorus to date of.......

ONE ARSENE WENGER.......THERE'S ONLY ONE ARSENE WENGER

4 months ago I would have been delighted if you told me that Bendtner would be lining up in this fixture. I just thought he would be turning out for that cretin Steve Bruce and not for the league leaders. Embarrassing, really impacts on our chances of winning.

FFS! We'd be better off if he played Feo or Gnabs up front :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Too feckin' True Blue! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

My mate just saw the line up and texted me saying it was another sneaky ploy b AW - he plays Buddha against easier opposition - Buddha scores a goal or three - and hey presto! No need to sign another striker in January.

:? :? :?

I think he may have a point!...mind you the chances of Buddha scoring even one goal is highly unlikely.... :|

isn't it ?

I wouldn't leave out Wilshere and start Cazorla, Ozil AND Rosicky. If we're rotating to me it makes sense to leave one of our 3 flair/creative players on the bench who are far more likely to give us a lift off the bench and inject tempo if we're struggling to break them down.

Personally I also think this would have been a better game to start Arteta rather than Flamini. Can't see them offering much through the middle and Flamini will quite probably end up pushing forward more, I think Arteta is probably a better option for this sort of game. Although saying that starting Arteta and bringing Flamini off the bench to wrap up the game did us orite on Saturday!

Still, extremely worried about Bendtner starting.

At the end of the day, if Giroud needed a rest (which in fairness, wouldn't surprise me) then I would rather it was tonight against Hull than vs. Everton, Chelsea or Citeh.

We have a cracking midfield behind him, so I'm confident of a victory even with Bendtner in attack.

I know we don't want to see him there, but I'm not sure I'd feel any better with Theo down the middle - I actually think he would disrupt our rhythm even more as we'd have to play a different way. At least Bendy is a poor man's version of Giroud.

Still think we'll win, and hope Bendtner score a morale boosting brace :barscarf:

No Higuain, Suarez or Rooney for us?

Oh well - I'm sure the world's greatest Danish striker will show us his wonderful scoring prowess tonight
