Everton at Home

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Fcuk me we have started on the back foot

No coincidence that our biggest weaknesses is down the wings - we have a system (and players) that does not recognise the importance of providing protection to the full backs  Also needs to be said that ozil held the ball and held the ball waiting for jenkinson to provide some width but he stood standing on the halfway line  :x

Why should we be happy with a draw? We in 1st position and at home playing a team in 5th and would be happy with draw? And we hope to win league? SMH

We played WBA for draw because the had previously beaten Man Utd and thought that was good. That was a game we should have won. We should have gotten 39 points from our last 13 bpl games.

If we choose to give Everton too much respect today we are bound to lose

Peace

Great start from Everton. Really fast, intense play. This is how we should have played at Man United.

I doubt they'll be able to maintain this for the whole match, however. Sounds strange to say this as we're playing at home, but we need to slow the game down a little, get our foot on the ball and string some passes together.

Isnt it amazing that our players haven't been able to work out that we look at our most dangerous when we attack at pace ? Two minutes after our most dangerous move we revert to slow laboured passing and our moves break down
