As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
And I thought I was one of the more negative posters!
The Toffee's have only been beaten once in the premier league this year that was away to shitty. They have beaten the chavs and manure and drawn with the scouse and the scum, they are only 3 points off third place. Yes of course it would of been better if we had held on to the win..... but we didn't but we are still 5 points clear at the top. Chill people.
And for everyone having a pop at Jenks...... he is back-up to Sagna not a first choice so give the lad a break eh. As for Gibbs he has been good this season but personally I would prefer Monreal at left back but I seem to be in the minority... I will leave that debate til another day.

He's been like a different player this season but he is not the sort of striker who is going to bail you out when you're playing poorly. It was the same at United - quality of our possession and play was dire but he did nothing to make the most of it, he was dreadful.
Unfortunately he's just not at the level of Aguero, van Judas, Rooney.
i rate him i do, but he wont nick u a game on his own with a flash of brilliance regualrly even though he so nearly did today.

BTW Lineker just said that we showed a resilience today that leads him to tip us a Champions. made the same point as me - we let them pass it around and they didn't really do anything with it.
also said Martinez is heir apparent to AW
Couldn't understand our shite first half, no pressure on the man with the ball just hope our defence can hold firm - then we did get it we didn't even counter attack at pace..
Wasted almost all of the first half "containing" them, 2nd half we created far more and had we started like that might have gone a goal or two up.
we were shite the united first half too, that lost us the game when they were there for the taking
Fair result shame we couldn't hold on.
But f**king hell that was a workout. That team will do the chavs even without thinks he isn't ready yet be Lukaku. I can see why moaninho thinks he isn't yet a top 4 player. His decision making at crucial moments was sh*t. Chew didn't deserve to concede but it was a good goal. Why the f**k do we leave subs till so late in the game. At the 87th minute it felt like 2pts dropped but on reflection think it was a point gained. Onwards.
Napoli conceded 3 at home yesterday so that gives us a good chance there.

you mean apart from being an inch away from the goal of the season out of nothing, right ?
For some reason we seem inhibited in the bigger games, and it's obviously a blow not to take 3pts here with chavs and citeh up next. Feels like a missed opportunity.
Giroud was quiet (but had little service) and Ramsey & Cazorla were poor. In fact Santi just hasn't looked himself all season... hopefully his form picks up with more games under his belt.
Frustrated but Everton played well and deserved a point. Could do with a decent result vs. chavs and/or citeh to get the momentum going again, as I fear 3 poor results in a row (in the league) could really dent belief in the players... and cause meltdown on here as you get the feeling many fans are just waiting to get their claws into the team again

do you realise how stupid that statment is, what in the fucking world is the good in that? he even fucked up the chance before ozil scored, complete air kick

Odd reply. It's bleedin' obvious what he means and it's a fair point.
Giroud is a team player who isn't likely to win you games on his own like RVP, Ronaldo, Messi, Suarez, Henry can do.
But yeah, he hit the bar from 30 yards in the last seconds of the game, so clearly he's a natural match winner

that top class striker is still needed.
we have the money. just fuckin do it. falcao
Blimey, is he available?
I know people on here keep linking us to Cavani as well.
Why are these 2 players available so soon after £50m+ moves to France in the summer? - I can't get my head around it
We definitely need a striker though. That's certain!

he created something almost out of nothing. he he almost bailed us out. and you don't know if Ozil didn't shout 'mine' or 'leave it.

Very true. Monaco and Paris shit money. Offer them 50m for Cavani or Falcao and they just won't care. Why would they? They don't care about money but only about winning and probably growing as a club.

Arsenal in "didn't show up against top team" shocker. Who'd have thought it ?
