Napoli away

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

they're at home and need to score goals so there should be plenty of room behind for him to run in to, and he needs the minutes on the pitch for fitness and sharpness.
so long as we don't do anything incredibly stupid at the back it won't matter if he's still a bit too rusty to make much happen, and it'll make him 70 game-minutes more likely to be useful against city in the latter stages

There is no way the fat spanish waiter will allow his CB's to venture too far foward and leave them open to Walcott's runs.

Best option would be to play him wide and not donte middle as their FB likes to get forward.

Not sure our back 4 would be overly impressed with Walcott down themiddle as he is hardly going to hold the ball up and unless we get an early goal we'll be under the cosh a little with their crowd on their back wanting them to press us. The last thing we need is ickle wickle Walcott be bounced around by the Cb's and the ball constantly comin back to our area. Higuain doesn't need many chances to score. Even if his Champs league record is poor.

Hi Folks,
crazy situation in that group. I have a feeling that Arsenal, Neapel and BVB will end up with 12 points and that the direct comparision will decide.

Good luck for todays game!

Cheers,
Thomas

That is true, but it looks like the team is really focused on this one (maybe one reason they have lost on saturday to Leverkusen). I think it will be a 2:1 or 2:0, but we will win and make it to the next round.

Cheers,
Thomas

Pleased to hear GG on Radio4 sports at 8.30 this am, sounded in v good form. What a canny and great manager he was.

Could be a high scoring match, Napoli having to go for it, and exposing themselves at the back.
Will be disappointed if we dont come away with a point at least. :?

Endless amount of words to describe "the minge"

Would have loved to have seen Higuain in an Arsenal shirt. i reckon he would have been the fox we've been after for so long.
