Let's All Laugh At Man Utd! (Merged thread)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

As tickets for Maunure at home go on sale to silver members this morning has anyone ever noticed that if you log in to AFC website and are held in a queue to purchase your ticket, once you get through there are hardly any lower tier (if at all) tickets left (happens all cat A games)? How do you get in there so quick?? I sit at my pc and even log in before 10am, keep refreshing, but always get the same situation??

Update....
915am - logged in
940am - entered Q
1030am - out of Q, only lower blocks 4,5,15,19 have limited availability
1035am - blocks 4,5,15 when I requested 1 ticket all continually advised none available, get 1 in block 19.
How do people get in before me???? If you're one of those, come on, let us into the secret??

Laugh at them while we can and I enjoy every second of it but I still say they'll finish above us and go further in the Be All and End All

Most of the lower tier seats are season tickets. Very few go on sale to silvers. I just logged on and decided not to part with my well earned cash. As Chippy Jnr is no longer a JG I am looking at £163 for 2 crap seats in the gods. Add in train fares a couple of drinks and some food and I am looking at knocking on £250 for an evening out to watch two teams scrapping for the 4th place trophy. Much as I'd love to see us beat that lot for a change I'm not forking out that much. :x :x :x

I'm curious as to how you become Silver members, as there is no mention of it on Arsenal's website.
Do you join a que for silver when you signed on as a Red? What is the cost of a Silver as well?

It's dead men's shoes. Reds automatically get upgraded when they get to the top of the queue and a spot becomes available. I believe it is the same cost.

if his history is anything to go by he'll be out for longer than a month. shame there's no tricky games there. all should be a Piece of Piss - all relegation fodder or mid table teams, no top five.

hang on thats only two weeks ^^^^^^

he'll also miss home to swansea and away at the chavs. yay.

its no much of a muchness with him or without him
Van Persie's 2013-14 record
Manchester United's record with Van Persie in 2013-14: Played 16, Won 9, Lost 3, Drawn 4

Manchester United's record without Van Persie in 2013-14: Played 8, Won 4, Lost 2, Drawn 2

They've missed him hugely this year, Rooney has been superb but having the two of them with van judas shit hot really papered over the cracks as much as the Ferguson factor imo.

Read that he picked up the thigh strain taking a corner, looks like a return to old ways :barscarf:
