Great. That means the players can go for an early shower

Last season it either sold out at 10+ or 15+.Robin_L wrote:Can't see it getting down to 10+ credits, let alone Red Members, so you're only about 4 levels too low thereBatflyer wrote:Exciting draw, although it's also the worst draw we could get...
Would love to visit the away game, does anyone know if I have any chance of getting a ticket? I'm a Red member, but I can't remember if it went to Reds last year.![]()
BUT I might be gauging the level of demand completely wrong, so feel free to correct if i'm way off.

Re: CL draw
I don't see what the big deal is.
Most people agree we are not good enough to win it.
What difference does it make if we get knocked out in this round or the next round?
I'd rather play Bayern than Zenit or Galatasaray.
I thought our qualifying group was great this year with 4 big teams rather than smaller clubs from Eastern Europe.
Usually there is no atmosphere when we play the smaller clubs, but come the Bayern game everyone will be up for it.
We may be given the run around like we were last year, but hey does it matter whether it is now or the quarter final?

Re: CL draw
Wonder if we'll break from tradition and actually turn up for the first half of the 1st leg.

Re: CL draw
I doubt it. As far as most of the players are aware, the knock-out rounds end after half an hour of the first game and restart for a few minutes at the start and end of the second leg.northbank123 wrote:Wonder if we'll break from tradition and actually turn up for the first half of the 1st leg.

Re: CL draw
Ah well..the ultimate price for not winning our group. This will no doubt be a backskulling of the highest order
Napoli wouldve been aswell scoring again and putting us into the europa..at least we might have got a different and more exciting tie or 2 in that.

Re: CL draw
Winning the group or not doesn't bother me one bit.
People moan about playing teams like Olympiakos etc.............so we finish second play the big boys and people still moan.
For me Bayern is a proper match, much prefer that than Zenit, Olympiakos and a like.

Re: CL draw
Exactly, I for one can't wait for this match as we are playing a proper team with fantastic players and a fantastic manager. Will be a fantastic atmosphere, and so what if we lose? Most on here are half expecting it anyway, and if we win it will certainly be a night to rememberEC3 wrote:Winning the group or not doesn't bother me one bit.

Dan, do you reckon the away game will go down to silvers at all? I'm debating taking the risk and buying flights now or to wait and face higher prices...

This is so true...if we got out to Bayern as expected then so be it..if we are to win the Champions League we will have to beat Bayern or such like at some stage . We are not going to be crowned Champions of Europe by winning a last 16 tie against Zenith or Olympacios. If as expected we do go out to Bayern then it frees up our fixture calendar for the glorious march on the VT.

Re: CL draw
Good footballing tie but chasing the win against BVB at home has cost us and, I fear, this is where we go out.
Re: CL draw
Laughed my bollocks off when I saw the draw
Such a difficult season to predict. Wonder if we'll get the pleasure of another 2nd leg moral victory this time - after all it could spark a run which culminates in the Carrow Road wankathon in May as the Virtual Trophy is secured yet again
