The Scum Thread/Stadium Redevelopment

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

All the wankers with PHDs in hindsight make me laugh. They're all over the radio talking about how it was "never going to work" signing so many players with no PL experience in one go. Funny that, if it was "never" going to work perhaps you should have let Levy know back in July. Or not, depending on your perspective :barscarf: :barscarf:

Best 'one-liner' this year.
David Ginola has said that their problem is that the players don't understand the club's history!!!
What fucking history???? That 50+ years ago they won the league. They'd have be David Starkey to understand the endless start of season optimism and ensuing misery.

Tim Sherwood woooahhh
Tim Sherwood woaahhh
He comes from borehamwood
He aint no fucking good!

Looking forward to belt out this old song out for the spuds game early in the new year. LOL tottenham.

From memory, he played for blackburn a number of years ago vs us and one of our players got injured. Arsenal player kicks the ball into touch, Sherwood throws the ball to a team mate and they score? Perhaps another gooner can clarify, it is a distant memory.

He has been hated ever since.

Not so sure a managerial Dream Team is the way forward for them, as Sherwood looks to be ensconced as coach.
But further managerial candidates could include:

Hope Powell - 15 years as England boss sets her up nicely to manage the Lilywhites?
Salva Kir - Familiar with the phrase "It's all gone South".
Fazer - Well up for a pop at "Team Dench".
Charles Sarkozy - At a bit of a loose end.
Adrien Broner - Talks the talk, does not always walk the walk - very appropriate for a team on an upwards cycle.
Pippa Middleton - Her regular Telegraph column sees her try her hand at things for short time, and then move on.
Boris Johnson - Can convince Enic to sell up and use the land as a new airport.
