Fucking infantile. Poor form is one thing and frustration is another but if he goes round rolling all over the place, clutching his ankle/leg, constantly whinging at refs and rising to the bait of opposition fans then he's just going to get wound up by players and fans alike even more.

As I said understand he was pissed off with the team performance and his own level of performance but if one snap-shot could sum up his season that would be it: frustrated and unfocused. Back to basics needed.

Why is it a "mandatory" 2-game ban? Petulant and deserves a ban but when Suarez - with a rap sheet as long as his arm - gets one game last season for exactly the same thing at the back end of last season I think it's fair to question why it's two games for him.

Perhaps it's come in with the changes to retrospective action. Which by the way are a complete joke as they only apply to incidents seen by the ref, whereas the problem is when the ref claims to have seen the incident and the FA can't act. It's a bit of a strange rule change saying that it has to warrant a red card had the ref seen it - I remember Dai Healy getting sent off against Wales a few years ago but in reality had the ref seen it would he have sent him off? Also no amount of rule changes is going to give the FA the balls to make the right decisions.

The cannibal got a 1 game ban for the same offence a couple of years ago so he is absolutely right to contest the 2 game ban

Jack has played nowhere near as badly as some have made out, he has IMO scored the goal of the season and was inches away from another great goal in the first few seconds (against Cardiff ?) just a few games ago.

He is an awesome talent and will be an immense player for whoever he plays for, some proper keyboard numpties about these days, I'd hate to think what stick he (and the rest of the team) would be getting if we were 4/5th

I agree with Mark and Lefty and have thus made an alteration of the thread title that keeps the essence of what the 'infidel' goonersid was trying to say, but without the implied insult.
