Chavs at home

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

i'm puzzled - how does Giroud's odd miss a game, stop Ramsey from surging forward and belting it ? - Walcott getting at them, Ozil and Rosicky zipping it around and converting defence into attack in seconds.

yes with suarez we might have won 1-0. might. he misses too sometimes...

imho its the lack of tactics, preparation and mental preparation that screws the team in big games - Giroud should of had five chances a half . he didn't

suarez might win us a title but he'll just be carrying the manager like TH14, cesc, Walcott and Ramsey before him.
Giroud is a nice player but if you want to win against the top teams you either have a truly special team with loads of players who score a lot like Bayern OR - more realistic - you need a top striker who will not only finish chances others create for him but also score out of nothing and create stuff by himself. Might still have ended 0-0 tonight, yes. But Giroud hasn't scored against Manchester United, City, Chelsea, Liverpool or Everton. Only Tottenham.
As I said he's a nice player but imo he's not a player who will win you the big games regularly.

Walcott - poor control, poor crossing, poor game
Giroud - poor shooting, good hold-up play
Sagna - good control, poor crossing
Vermealen - poor possesion,
Gibbs - did ok tonight
Mertesacker - did ok tonight
Arteta - did ok
Ramsey - lost possesion too many times
Rosicky - lightweight, easily knocked off the ball
Ozil - was he playing tonight?
Szczesny - had little to do, but did ok when needed

2 goals in the last 12 for Giroud. Both came against Southampton, one of which was a pen and the other a gift from Boruc.

Went up to my dads to watch this shit,at 1 stage he shouted at me to calm down,my mother told me after tht it was only a game,my 10 yr old said to his grandad tht im always tht way when watching arsenal

Seriously though the amount of backward passes was staggering, girioud is doing ok but hes not world class,if the muppets at arsenal had made a proper bid for suarez instead of the smart arse 40m & £1 we might have got him.

As usual we are unable to beat the big teams.

I noticed wenger having a problem with his zip on his jacket,if he cant overcome tht small problem what chance do we have, only + pt we didnt lose, the victims have city and chelsea next.Surely to fuck we can beat west ham .

West Ham can't fucking score a goal if their lives depend on it. Boxing Day will see a scrappy 1-0 win for us, we could be back top and this fella will be back out to play

When questioned by the sky reporter about not using any subs he mumbled some utter bollocks about solidity, didn't want to disrupt the balance :blah: :blah:

How about someone having a fucking shot on goal you moron.
How about changing your team shape when it clearly isn't working to make the opposition uncomfortable and us less predictable ?
How about taking off someone who is not performing and giving them a kick up ?

Giroud not world class
1st place owed to the fixture list
No strength in depth
Not a clue how to change a game with substitutions
Nobody coming in January

Real real progress

Take note for all of you doing the cooking on Wednesday.....watch that 90 mins again and that's how you serve up a F**KING TURKEY :cussing: :cussing: :cussing:

The chavs came to not lose, we let them.End of discussion. Ignore stats, in 90mins, neither keeper strained a sinew to catch the ball and that was the story of 2 apparent top teams.

At Christmas a dippers team with Agger and Toure at the back( the 2 dodgiest c**ts in the top 6, these 2 make Dawson look dependable) are top. If Shitty don't run away with this league from here on in, then Pellegrini is even more useless than AVB.

On that note cheers tiny tots for giving me a laugh today...Sherwood as manager, the Lewis/Levy/Baldini circus is back in the game
