As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Nobody is playing as well. Ramsey hasn't been playing as well partly because we're not moving the ball quickly enough and not stretching the opposition - not much chance of him arriving late to finish off chances when we've reverted to pedestrian football played in front of the opposition. Giroud isn't playing as well because we're not getting men past him for the flick on and not putting chances on a plate for him.
At the end of the day though it's too easy to pass it off as 'the team' playing poorly - 'the team' will only start playing well when those individuals raise their own games.
Of the penalty claim, and two separate high challenges on Mikel Arteta, Mourinho said: "They [Arsenal] like to cry - that's tradition. I prefer to say that English people - and I give one example, Frank Lampard - would never provoke a situation like that.
"Players from other countries, especially some countries, they have that in their blood.
"Foreign players are bringing lots of good things, but I prefer English blood in football and English blood in these situations is 'come on, let's go'."
Yes heaven forbid that when you were at Porto and Real Madrid that you would personally endorse waving imaginary cards in the ref's face or rolling around in mock agony. Nasty, horrible turdbag
Ramsey had a poor game last night, apart from a good ball to set up giroud he didnt look good at all. Tbh, i always had the feeling with ramsey that it was just an epic run of form, you cant go from what he was last season to being the best midfielder in the league. Credit to him for doing well though so far, but i wont be holding my breath or expecting him to do anyway near as well in the second half of the season.

Mentally weak manager and mentally weak players......haven't the world and it's mother told him for years that he needed to sign some real leaders instead of just weak yes men
Isn't it amazing how wenger is citing the tough run of fixtures as the reason for our recent slide but yet never referred to the piss easy early season fixtures as the reason why we were top

No strength in depth
Not a clue how to change a game with substitutions
Nobody coming in January
Real real progress
Really?
So based on your logic, we are tied for 1st and with 2 games to go before half season is completed and we haven't played any team of worth?
Guess we can all agree then that this is a SHIT league!
as someone said, its the large number of backward passes thats so shit- thats why Ramsey, Ozil and Giroud couldn't get in the game.
in Big games our pass and move game just dies on its arse.
i think we would have done better with ramsey and flamini in the middle. i like arteta but he can't dominate - and flam would have kicked the f@ck out of Obel.
our poor run of form has coincided with having Rosicky and Arteta both fit - our good run was based on flam and ramsey in the middle, caz on one side and one of arteta/rosicky/jack on the other wasn't it ?
I had a feeling it would be down to Arteta if we lost or drew and that if only Flamoney had been there how different it would have been
Flamoney had his chance in a big game last week and he was absolutely fucking woeful against City. For a so called hardman it was surprising to see him bounced around by Yaya Toure so easily.
Arteta was one of the better performers last night. The crap performance last night had nothing to do with the Arteta v Flamini debate, and everything to do with fucking dire performances from Giroud, Ozil, Wally and Ramsey

True Augie and the very fact that Wenker so often feels the need to publicly say what great mental strength they possess is a sign of the complete opposite.
