ALWAYS misses sitters against the top sides in the league. Can't stand the guy. And that annoying face he does when he blasts a shot wide makes my blood boil.

Just not good enough, it's not his fault though, it's Wenker's. :(

I just want to knock the myth that this useless wanker works his socks off, I watched in him very closely in the 2nd half last night and he hardly broke sweat or from an area from 10 yards of the oppositions centre halfs.

He plays up front on his own at least put some pressure on their centre halfs but he does fuck all (apart from miss gilt edged chances), if we're ever going to win anything we need better than this vomiting horse of a forward and his histrionics after he has just missed a gilt edged chance are just plain embarrassing. (He should be an option of the bench, if Mr Knows hadn't sat on his fucking hands all last summer) (A cult hero just because of his fucking song)

Never good enough for a team that supposedly going to challenge for the title, his technique and speed of reaction are poor, he's no better than Bendtner was during his first spell here, while Podolski is no Suarez or RVP his finishing are far more clinical than this prancing poodle.

Wenger on Giroud missing late chances…

"The three games he played in six days had a big weight in our recent results, but since then we had nine days when we could recover and I think tonight he was not tired. I will have to rest everybody at some stage. Bendtner or somebody else [will have to start at some stage]".

Looks like even the stubborn one himself has had enough of France's answer to Andy Carroll.

I like Giroud but he is just not good enough against the big sides, just look at those sitters he has missed against City and Chelsea last night. If we had someone with the quality of RVP, Suarez or Higuain I'm sure we would have got at least four points from those two games. As someone stated earlier, he is now costing us points.

I'm on my knees praying we buy a GOOD striker at the start of January (or any time in Jan really), but it's more likely Wenger will buy some nobody from league deux :banghead:

Yes, you clueless cock someone else will have to. I know you've worked in football for 30 years and us impatient morons not a single day, but seemingly 60,000 impatient morons were able to work out that Giroud might not be able to play 50 odd games in a season.

But oh no....you know best.

Who's going to get the call at 11.59 on deadline day for a desperate last attempt at a loan deal? Will he be shameless enough to go back for Ba if the Chavs sign the bloke who won't be coming here? Will TH14 be asked to play for a third time? Is there some over the hill or not wanted useless wanker currently out of contract somewhere in the world? How about someone else who's dropping out of the MLS......Robbie Fucking Keane maybe?

What we do know, is that while Chelsea sign Costa and City sign whoever they want, and United sign the midfielder they know they missed out on in Summer........we'll be served up the usual fucking diatribe about "nobody wants to sell to you in January", "dizzying prices" and how next season we'll have the additional financial firepower

THERE'S ONLY ONE FUCKING USELESS WANKER

Have watched this numerous times this morning. To not even at least hit the target from there... :banghead: Shocking. Exactly the kinda chance that RvP or someone of that quality would be burying.

even RVP can't score from the Bench.... :D

I still like Giroud, i still think he works hard, holds the ball up well, is a threat in the air, and he has scored some cracking goals this season.

i know people want a striker like Suarez, but then people also wanted a gleaming new 60,000 seater stadium rather than Highbury, and how's that working out ?

Walcott was also anonymous last night, Pod didn't even get a run out and Gnabry wasn't in the squad - so its not like we don't have some talent already, i think its because we don't create the chances for any of them.

if Giroud was missing 3-4 sitters per game every week like Super Nic, i'd be on his back too, but the attacks on him let Wenger off waaay too easy imho.

suarez and RVP don't take every easy chance they get, to pretend they do is just silly.

I'm not trying to derail this thread or anything, but I don't really get the stadium 'hate' as such. No, AG doesn't have the soul that Highbury did, obviously because we have only been there about 6 years. But I for one am glad we have moved to a new, bigger stadium.

Mainly, that's because people like me can get ticket's much easier due to the increased capacity. But, you may then say that the tickets are much more expensive than they were at Highbury, but I think that is much more to do with our greedy board members and the way football is headed than the stadium itself.
Then there is the atmosphere argument, but when I have been to the stadium only once have I ever been disappointed in that regard, but I get that Highbury was hardly a place which was rocking on a weekly basis, as the name 'Highbury Library' suggests.

The keeper had it covered .

He was 2ft left of the left side of the six yard box - he either should of opened up his body and passed it in with his right, or blasted it into the top right corner on his left.

That's a tough chance IMHO.

This summed up last night.

The attacking midfielders hardly saw the ball.

We spent a lot of time side ways passing it, daunted by their seven man defence.

That Giroud chance was hard....his run meant he was moving away from goal.
It perhaps looks easier than it was because of the pass, bouncing in front of him, well placed?
But I agree, Giroud in retrospect might feel he should have tried to hit it with his right.
Whether he could have I do not know, it would have slowed him a little as he adjusted his body and the keeper may have go to it instead?

I feel the main problem last night was not this missed shot, it was the lack of opportunities created for our attacking players.
Ozil and Ramsey were quiet, they should have been subbed with 30 minutes to go, to try something new, fresh legs to at least try to up the tempo.
