The Scum Thread/Stadium Redevelopment

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Came up on sky "till the end of the season"
No, it said until the end of next season, and Tyler mentioned the same thing in commentary.

Another quality result today.

One win out of three. I wonder if Sherwood will make it through to end of February ?

Haven't won a Premier League game at WHL since October, they're still not happy on Glory-Glory

Sherwood is such a fuckwit. They have replaced a charlatan with a dinosaur and I expect them to plummet. Good.

Me neither. Played his hand well to be fair as I'm sure Levy would have liked giving him 6 months rather than 18 (clearly has little confidence in him long-term) when he refused to take it on an interim basis. But from what I've heard he is absolutely clueless tactically (as well as being a prick).

Also I keep hearing about how he's overseen all these young players' transition into their first team. WHO?

Clearly they gave AVB the boot without any real thought or serious consideration about who they could get to replace him and now after having to pay him off have realised that their options are actually much more limited than they thought. Cue panic, give it to Tim for 18 months. They're clearly hedging their bets on getting CL football and the income that goes with it, which I guess they think will make them a more attractive proposition to potential new managers. The thing is, unless they drastically improve and the teams above them drastically flop, they don't look like getting CL football at all.
