THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We will only be 5 months away from the contract expiry date once the bell tolls at midnight New Year's Eve :barscarf:

You're kangaroo burgers will need to be fucked in the skip mon ami, the much anticipated celebratory BBQ is a bigger floop than my pecker after 12 pints of cider!!

Stick a fork in Le Turnip, he's cooked.

If you don't want him to sign, now is the time to write to the club IMHO.

I think the only way he won't is if he took the justified criticism to heart from earlier.

WE WANT YOU TO STAY. WE WANT YOU TO STAAAAAY. ARSENE WENGER WE WANT YOU TO STAY

:barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Expect this to ring out loud and clear at the bowl if he hasn't signed by March. Would be funny to see the window lickers getting twitchy as the countdown to May gets ever closer with his future still unclear

And I truly believe he is waiting for these songs to get ever louder before he announces he will sign the contract, his ego needs feeding and he loves the hold he has on the vast majority of the stadium and now he is punishing them for daring to boo

You're more .likely to hear that song being sung at Stamford Bridge or Old Trafford

I was thinking about this last night - why were we so shite in Europe from 98 to 2005 ?

Everyone said the team needed European experience but the players we had with European experience were - seaman, winterburn, Adams, bould, keown, dixon, parlour, wright, platt, bergkamp, grimandi, anelka, vieira, petit, overmars, Henry, ljunberg, Reyes, van bronckhurst, fabregas, Garde, have I missed any ???

So 90% of the team had Europen experience - it was just the manager that was niaive wasn't it ?

Did he waste our golden generation too ? I think so.

Hi everybody. Yes, I still want Wenger out, BUT, it's the best we have been for a few years. As a Scotsman and a Gooner, just enjoy where we are at this time.

That kind of sentiment is blasphemy on here
