Will we be top at Xmas or on New Years Day?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Looks like 50% of us should be pleased as we've at least performed to expectations lol unless we surpass expectations again and do Chelski over!

Liverpool 2 points behind with a +5 goal difference over us
Chavs 2 points behind with a -2 goal difference compared to us
City 3 points behind with a +13 goal difference over us

Next weekend's games

Saturday lunchtime - Liverpool vs Cardiff - banker home win
Saturday 3pm - Fulham vs City - away win (their away day blues are over and Fulham are fucking shite)

So by the time we play we'll be third and the Chavs will ensure we'll end the year in our favourite spot.....scraping 4th place a point or so ahead of Everton

Barclay, Cross, the Turncoats and Windowlickers will be amazed that the so called title challengers that showed great progress knocking over the likes of Norwich and Hull, are suddenly back where they belong.......staring at another trophyless season with the thinnest of all top 4 squads

It was a lacklustre performance from us, but 2nd at Xmas! If someone had said that back in August and asked me would you be happy with that and on goal diff too - i'd say yeah man! Of course we're not potential title winners for 13/14

Sooooo many reasons, here's one ..... you're drawing 0-0 without a single shot on target for first 70 mins or so and AW doesn't use bring on Santi or Podolski to try and win it for us!!! Eveb a sunday league manager would have brought on a potential match winner ...

hearing him talk after the game, makes me wanna vomit. wheras as slimy as mourinho is, he comes across as 'job done' .... ie he got what he wanted and with ease ...

Added to that we've never won the FA Cup when we've been knocked out in the 3rd round!

Spooky!

LOL

35 Gooners fail to predict correctly including myself

Looking sensibly given the tough run to Christmas, and our habitual capitulation to Manure Citeh and The Chavs, followed by The Shammers and Barcodes away between Christmas and the new Year it was perhaps an easier prediction than the heavy weather we made of it
