The reporter must have really turned stones to get that exclusive scoop.
Re: January transfer rumours thread
'If a special player turns up we will be interested' - Arsey Wonga 31/12/13
What a surprise, he's waiting for someone to arrive at Colney asking to sign for us rather than go and make an offer for a quality player.
He goes on to say how Barry Bender is getting fitter............yes but he's still just as shit Arsey me old mucker
Let's get ready to crumble!!

Don't worry my friend all the January bingo phrases will be there to tick off. Try these for 'four corners' before we play for a house:TeeCee wrote:'If a special player turns up we will be interested' - Arsey Wonga 31/12/13

Nobody wants to sell in January
We were very close
Re: January transfer rumours thread
Wenger says that the top clubs have 3 "specialist" strikers and that we "have only 2" because wake me up yaya sanogo "isnt ready yet"
Fuck me this statement is wrong on so many levels. Not least the fact that one of our so-called "specialist strkers" is so special that he plays him on the wing then tries to flog him to anybody wholl have him but cant get shot cause hes paid too much.
Wenger we are short up top because of YOU!

But we have tons of virtual specialist strikers....doesn't that count?armchair supporter wrote:Wenger says that the top clubs have 3 "specialist" strikers and that we "have only 2" because wake me up yaya sanogo "isnt ready yet"

Bet theos delighted that even after the contract negotiations and crucial goals for us since, Wenger, who we keep hearing is such an honourable man with such integrity still doesnt see theo as a striker.
Theo what does it feel like to get stroked by mr. Integrity? Even wake me up is ahead of you in the pecking order....

Re: January transfer rumours thread
How many Premier League teams can claim to have worse second and third choice strikers than us. I posted a thread on that subject when it was Chamakh and Park. Glad we've progressed since thenarmchair supporter wrote:Bet theos delighted that even after the contract negotiations and crucial goals for us since, Wenger, who we keep hearing is such an honourable man with such integrity still doesnt see theo as a striker.

Re: January transfer rumours thread
So by wengers "logic" we have 2 specialist strikers plus wake me up who isnt ready......
Assuming Bendtner leaves in Jan (or even if he doesnt) and we get a n other striker in. We will have
Bendtner (or maybe not)
Giroud
Wake me up Yaya Sanogo
A N Other
Id suggest that even with another quality striker wed still be short up top compared to the others fighting for the title...

Re: January transfer rumours thread
Special strikers cost a minimum of 30-35m. There's Only One decided against it with Higuain, and will do the same with Costa. The lad supposedly has this 32 or 34m buyout clause and that will be the one and only chance to get him at that price
Extra special strikers who we could have signed come along once in a lifetime and 50m would have got the bloke tearing up the Prem but not now. If he really was such a fuckin financial expert as he is made out to be he'd realise that signing Costa for 34m now would probably mean recouping 50m plus in a couple of years....but he'll blather on about football 'being in an unsustainable bubble' for the seventh year running whilst everyone else goes about their business around him.
If Kroenke ever really had the ambition to turn us into a global power he'd do away with WENGER in an instant.....but sadly they share the same ambition.....deliver the virtual trophy each year and make a tidy profit

Top four is almost ours. Thats all that matters right? Just forget the last 8 years and get behind the team. (Until next week)
Oops. Sorry. I mentioned the last 8 years....

Re: January transfer rumours thread
You can mention the 8 years but not the word 'trophy' because apparently football these days isn't about winning them. Don't you wish you were part of the 'in crowd' looking at the bigger picture? Just chuck that poxy thing away against Spurs this weekend as it matters not. Save your champers for Carrow Road in May and when we get through the qualifying round of the Chumpions League in Augustarmchair supporter wrote:Im sick of your negativity. Cant you just be happy? Re: January transfer rumours thread
interesting commenst today, saying that he's looking to add a striker to Giroud not replace him and dismissing Giroud'd comments as "striker" talk.
The injuries to Giroud and Walcott have forced his hand i think.
ideally we should buy 2 strikers - a prospect in his early 20's and someone world class/finished product/ on the latter money should be no object - we do have 58 million left from that 100, don't we ????
ironically, RVP would probably be the best fit right now for a team with Cazorla, Ozil, Pod/Giroud and Ramsey in it.
splashing out big on a hitman now would be a big statement of Intent, but my faith is already crushed so i don't see it.
