Bendtner; The Leg-end

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Bendtner or Giroud you say?

I'll consider the options whilst deciding between Domestos or Paraffin for my evening tipple

Bendy played sensibly today and smashed it in from a yard. I'd love him to do well, but he lacks effort and aggression, is no faster than Giroud and wouldn't even be the fourth best striker at Citeh or Utd. We need someone much better.

Has more goals in 2014 than Messi, Ronaldo, Bale :barscarf:

Fortunate to have goal put on a plate for him but thankfully didn't blow it and shit as he is he is a better option than Podolski up front given Wenger's undying dedication to his beloved 4-5-1.

But can we stop pretending he is a hard-working, honest bloke trying to make the most of what little ability he has? He is an arrogant prick whose disgraceful behaviour means that despite being a no-mark he still occasionally garners some column inches. He has pissed away the best years of his career because his wage packet is more important for him than a clean break and he would rather fuck about on loan at a different club every year. Seems he went on a bender instead of getting in shape pre-season and then had the unbelievable audacity to moan because he's going to get the gametime he's been demanding and because we won't sell him after he's refused to leave for the last 2 or 3 years.

He's a fucking laughing stock, and so are we if we're pretending to be serious about winning the league with this clown as our secondary striking option.

Well he's injured now for a month or more which with out treatment table means a year ,so we have only Podolski and Walcott left, new signings are a must !.

Sense would tell you to revert to 442 real quick but it wont happen ,we still have momentum but we are starting to limp around a bit another injury or 2 and we are screwed .

Any News on Diaby ?

I see le CIC is talking up the danish pr*ck this morning and saying that he wants to keep him

The worst thing about his injury is that it is now highly unlikely that we will get shot of the guy this month cos aint nobody gonna sign a guy that is already injured

I don't think anybody was going to sign him in January anyway. We've tried to offload him for 2 years or more but owing to the fact that There's Only One awarded him a 52k per week contract beyond his wildest dreams, the sort of teams he'd fit in at (Hull, Palace, Eintracht) have made it perfectly clear they can't afford those wages and rightly so. You hope that desperate teams in January decide to throw caution to the wind like QPR did last year but I think Sunderland, Palace and West Ham will be too prudent to do that.

Surely even our Lord and Master wouldn't be quite so mad as to sign him up to another new deal ?

4-4-2....how dare you??? Whether it's Barcelona or Boreham Wood we are playing we shall take to the field in a 4-5-1 formation.

As for Barry Bender, if it was a choice between him or no-one I'd take him
