FA CUP 3RD ROUND THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Bastards indeed - thanks for the heads up

A nice 45 minute door to door has now doubled in time.....and no doubt I'm paying 5% more than last year for the privilege.

Still, I've got me Block 2 hearties to warm my spirits upon arrival

ONE........AR......

I'm ready

In 5 posts time steveo I guess we have to throw you a party or something? Or you post some tits? :barscarf:
I hadn't noticed mate but thanks for pointing it out. How about my 10000th being a new "Abou appreciation thread" ?
to conincide with the number of days since he last played football? Good idea mate!

I'm putting this in writing -

If Wenger plays anything remotely detouring from our best available XI I will not be very happy.

Unfortunately I know this is EXACTLY what will happen :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Judging by the training photos on Arsenal.com, I'm expecting to see a fairly strong lineup (apart from those injured, of course). The cameras seem to be focusing on Podolski, Arteta, Flamini, Rosicky, Ozil etc.

I know it probably doesn't mean much but it would be a bit strange to show all of the first team training ahead of a game that hardly any of them would feature in. :?

I'm sure a lot of them will (and I'm hopeful he will put them all out) but knowing Wenger and how he's been saying "red zone" like rain man the past few weeks, I think he will drop a couple of them to the bench. Lord knows Wenger doesn't do the whole "get the game won THEN rest players" thing.

55 grand a week for sitting around on my hole doing SFA, why can't it be poor Rodders :(

Because you Rodders do not have:

Glass ankles
Balsa wood shins
Snowflake kneecaps
You do not get injured merely by looking at a football
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand

You DO NOT wear a scum shirt

And you are not a lazy twat of an uggo *word censored*

Well, you did ask Rodders. Simples.

ps: From Arsenal.com

Arsène Wenger has revealed the latest team news ahead of Saturday's FA Cup third-round clash against Tottenham:

on Bendtner…

What I can tell you is that from the last game we lost Nicklas Bendtner. We don’t know how serious his injury is at the moment because he had a scan yesterday. His scan will be assessed today.

on Giroud…

For the rest, Giroud’s ankle was quite positive yesterday in the test but he was sick overnight so he has a 90 per cent chance of being out. He is in bed today.

on other injuries…

Ozil will have a test later, personally I think he will be short.

Gibbs and Ramsey are definitely out.

on Oxlade-Chamberlain…

He is close to being back in full training, next week. It takes a little time to be competitive again.

Well there you have it...all the excuses he'll need if we don't rip these smelly jam rags a new one! :cussing: :banghead:

deftly overlooking that he's had years to put this squad and back up staff together, and if we lose he is 100% responsible for both.
