FA Cup 4th Round Draw

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Good tie for us to get through, just a bit boring.

You could almost hear the TV execs behind the cameras shouting FUCK as the draw panned out. Us, Citeh, Chavs, United (if they get there) and Liverpool will all absolutely cruise through. They have 5 or 6 live slots over the weekend, they're really struggling to any games worthy of TV.

Coventry at home then. We had an easier tie in the 3rd round this one will be more difficult.

:D

Hopefully we'll do better against Cov than our mates from the shithole did in 1987 - what a final that was....probably my happiest non-Arsenal FA Cup moment. They thought they were on for a cup double that year but sadly we dicked them in the League Cup and the Sky Blues stuck one on them at Wembley in the FA Cup. Never mind lads, six years later someone did go on to win both domestic cups for the first time in history in the same season :barscarf:

Good draw. Should be an easy win.

5th could be heavy with the big boys, but by then we'll be out of the CL so hopefully we'll not take risks like yesterday against lower opposition.

I look forward to putting in the time and money to go to this game and play a fun game of count the empty seats. Of course if we get to Wembley I'll be at the bottom of the ticket pecking order as all the die hards ( ) and corporates will be out in force. We're one of the best for early round cup attendances but 99% of that is because of our season ticket cup credits

I think we're unlikely to be on the box. The TV guys will always go for a potential upset or a big all Prem clash (which is missing from the draw)

Likely to be showing Stevenage v Everton, Bournemouth/Burton v Mickeys etc

Hopefully 3pm Saturday !

I thought that too, on paper no classics.

I think our game vs Coventry and Chelsea vs Stoke will get bid for, think channels will want clubs with bigger fanbases to draw in advertising revenue.
Does bode well for exciting games in the fifth round though if the top tier teams win their games

1-1 now, but I can actually see Swansea taking the lead again. ManUre are incredibly poor.

I'm on a winner either way. Having lived in Coventry in my teens and followed them Home and Away they have a special place in my heart but they are NOT The Arsenal :barscarf:

At least Coventry will get some much needed wonga from the draw...I just hope Inspector Clueless doesn't go all gung ho and play the reserves and give us heart attacks.

What date is the game btw??

There will be well over 50,000 there as long as they cut the price again.

Smalling with a pathetic dive. Even their defenders are at it.
