Re: January transfer rumours thread
Same names being banded about with little thought or grasp on reality. Moyes may be panicking but he is not going to risk the wrath of United fans by selling us a striker we desperately need and enforce our newfound superiority over them. Juventus and Bayern wouldn't consider selling unless we were willing to pay well over the odds in Jan - which we aren't. Costa and Berbatov are the same names that have been hashed about for weeks now.
Re: January transfer rumours thread
I can officially report that
Costa
Mandzukic
Berbatov
Llorente, and
Hernandez
.......aren't coming

Some no name online rag reporting that Draxler recently took a tour of the Emirates and was well impressed with out training facilities.
Could he be coming?

Re: January transfer rumours thread
Absolutely he could. Because another midfielder is exactly what we need. He might even offer "another option" up front

Re: January transfer rumours thread
the less important he would be an addition to our squad, the more I believe him to be coming

Re: January transfer rumours thread
He would be a fantastic replacement for Theo and a long-term replacement for TR7 and Santi.Henry Norris 1913 wrote:the less important he would be an addition to our squad, the more I believe him to be coming
Re: January transfer rumours thread
Draxler is absolute quality I'm afraid and while we need a striker as a main priority I won't be disappointed to see him here.Henry Norris 1913 wrote:the less important he would be an addition to our squad, the more I believe him to be coming
But.....Draxler might be coming........in the summer.
Re: January transfer rumours thread
Draxler isn't coming*
*with the caveat that come the eleventh hour of the final day of the window he hasn't even signed Kalou or some other no mark striker. Draxler will perfectly fit into our new 4-6-0 formation
By the way - if I hear the fucking term "false nine" ever mentioned by There's Only One, I'll stick the fucking BBQ fork up his ass. He's spent years trying to emulate Spain and the time he'll pull it off is when they finally go into decline and don't have a striker worthy of the name !

Re: January transfer rumours thread
Can't see us signing another striker, while we still have 2 decent strikers available in Podolski and Gnabry available. AW won't put his hand in his pocket with the Ox nearly back.
Oh and of course we have the excitingly named duo of : Ju-Young Park and Ryo Miyaichi too lol
Seriously though, AW doesn't work like that does he! But if another goes down (sincerely hope not!) then maybe just maye he'll snap up another old boy - as someone suggested Eduardo - God forbid, good as he was - now? no way ...
I think it'll be yet another frustrating window for us Gooners.....
