Fucking hell not this again. If it's "impossible" for the scouts to find anyone from the tens or hundreds of thousands of registered professional footballers around the world who could possibly improve the squad then they need sackingmcdowell42 wrote:Wenger "To find players to strengthen a club like ours at this time is nearly impossible. Re: January transfer rumours thread
Where does draxler play? Is he not similar to ozil?
Re: January transfer rumours thread
This is more like it, Paul-Georges N'tep is coming to us from Ligue 2 Auxerre
French-African? Check. Playing in Ligue 2? Check. Name looks like a game of scrabble gone wrong? Check.
He took the Eurostar to London this morning;

Auxerre want £8m but One Arsene Wenger is prepared to haggle to save us from the dizzying prices again. The new Yaya Sanogo he surely isn't!

With all due respect to the guy, I find it impossible to believe that we cannot locate and sign a better centre forward than giroud in world football - yes the guy tries hard but he is not and never will be a prolific striker and we can and should have better options in that position

I notice on the other mc post that has us linked with some young Spanish kid (deemed not good enough for ath Madrid mind

I have seen fcuk all of draxler but by all accounts he is a real top quality youngster

Re: January transfer rumours thread
Buy all the attacking midfielders! Midfielders solve everything according to Wenger.augie wrote:mcdowell42 wrote:http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/footba ... out-clause

He plays on the left wing but this is what he said last month:BournemouthRED wrote:Where does draxler play? Is he not similar to ozil?
"I have now resigned myself to the fact that I am not welcome in the number 10 position here at Schalke," he told German magazine Kicker.
"I am still convinced to be as dangerous just outside the centre. Even though I perhaps am the only one who thinks this."

No way will he be a number 10 for us. So perhaps, if we sign him, Wenger will play him up front. Henry and Van Persie were left-wing forwards when they joined us.
Re: January transfer rumours thread
So now we're gonna get worked up over some random bloke from France claiming he's on his way to London? Really?? I'm willing to bet ANY MONEY he wouldn't be signing for us, ffs. Much ado about nothing you say...Dan_85 wrote:This is more like it, Paul-Georges N'tep is coming to us from Ligue 2 AuxerreFrench-African? Check. Playing in Ligue 2? Check.
