VILLA AWAY

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

That was the type of game we'd probably have drawn in recent seasons.

Rosicky was subbed cos he got an elbow in the nose which led to a nose bleed which they couldnt patch up ,and if you look at him coming off the pitch you can see he was clearly dazed.

Wenger: Rosicky has "a bad nose. Don't know if it's broken, he told me he got an elbow". #afc will check to see if Monreal broken metatarsal

I have a lot of respect for the shift Giroud has got through this season and very glad he's (largely) upped his game significantly from the complete stream of dross last season.

But after he scored his goal tonight it was like he forgot that without his work rate he wouldn't even be a PL footballer never mind starting for the league leaders. Drifting out of position all the time and then not chasing balls down towards the end. Poor from him tonight, very poor.

Phewww! THAT was a close call - all thanks to santi for giving them the ball unnecessarily - glad to see BFG giving him a right bollocking - and rightly so....

Thought agbongolawhore should have been booked for elbowing TR...no doubt the FA will do fuck all...just like they did fuck all about the scum throwing missiles at one of our players....

Jesus, that was a hard watch. It pains me to say it, but Ozil looked like Ramsey circa 2011. Good to see his ability has been trained out of him... :banghead:
Gnabry looked good until he tired, and good to see Ox back on the field.
The ref was a total d-bag. I'm all for letting play go on, but when a player has blood pissing from his face it's probably time to stop the game.

Well we made hard work of that but 3 points is 3 points. I hate the finger biting last 15 odd minutes where you
think we are going to concede. At the end of the first half I was thinking we could get our goal difference up a bit
here in the 2nd half but it wasn't to be but we won so fuck it !!

I know most people don't believe it but we really hate banning anyone on this site. We probably wait a lot longer than other forums, but we like a bit of diversity on here, even AKBs. :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:
