Anyone, recall anything vaguely interesting happening in our previous home encounters as I am at a bit of a loss.
A couple of quality Nasri goals back in the daywhen Asharvin was still working his magic a couple of years back.

We drew 3-3 with them with Arteta missing a last min penalty, 2-0 up, 3-2 down.

the first match I remember, when we won the double in 2002, the home match at highbury was a comfortable victory. We scored a quite strange goal when lauren hit the post, it rebounded and it hit henry and he ended up scoring by fluke.
yep, this is the most boring fixture there is mate

Another glory day in May where I yanked so hard I nearly ripped my cock off as the 3rd placed trophy on this occasion was secured
And its a bloody good job we did secure it too because otherwise Van Persie and Nasri would have left

Remember being at that game and the highlight was the ease of getting into Finsbury Park Station because i didn't wait for the lap of appreciation. Fulham had a Europa league Final on their minds that week and a Scwarzer howler set us on our merry way. Another highlight was the Fulham fans singing "C'est Sera Sera ...we're going to Germany (Europa Final )" and getting applauded by the Arsenal fans for it.SteveO 35 wrote:There's only one game to remember

Most of our home games against Fulham have been routine wins, but there was a narrow 2-1 win in February 2003 that is among my favourite memories of Highbury. We were in a two-horse race for the title (having won the double the previous season), and were fully expected to turn them over quite comfortably. As it turned out, it took an injury time winner from Pires, and the place went batshit crazy.

The last match I saw at Highbury was against Fulham. It was August 2005, 4-1 win. Cygan scored twice
Henry also scored brace. Fulham scored first but it was still a very comfortable home win.

Remember that well because it was the first time I ever took my eldest to THOF. He was only 5 at the time and his replica kit was so small he could only get five letter surnames printed on it. So next time in the club shop when I asked him who he wanted and he had the choice of Henry, Pires etc amongst others he said "Cygan - because he got 2 goals and he's got a bald head"villej wrote:The last match I saw at Highbury was against Fulham. Luckily I overruled him and poor old Pascal missed out on his first ever shirt sale in favour of TH14
