Cortese isn't coming

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has hinted he will sign a new contract at the club. His current deal expires at the end of the season.

This is untrue. Over the past few years I did saw on tv wenger and his boys paraded the 3rd/4th place trophy on an open top bus in north London.

Bad enough that Wenger seems determined to screw any chance of us winning the PL with his lack of transfer activity without the players doing the same with the lack of effort on the pitch.

Would there be a point in bringing in a 30 year old from the Italian league to a team fighting for the title? (Mirko Vučinić)

Realistically that's probably the best we're going to get. Wenger satisfied himself with going for Ba on loan in the summer, although he knows we need to sign a striker he'll look for a stop-gap solution.

After all, Joel 'Carlos Vela II' Campbell will be returning at the end of the season and it'll be like a new signing.

After seeing Berbatov today I wouldn't be interested in signing him.

Granted he had limited supply against our solid defence and Fulhams lack of creativity but for me he is a player when the going gets tough he seems to hide away
