Weekend Games 18-20 January

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I wonder if Moyes will do a Wenger afterwards and claim that there wasn't much between the sides and that apart from the hat-trick Eto'o didn't do that much

Matic is a really good player. Can see why they want him. Like a young Essien.

Because that :censored: Dowd had already sent off Vidic for a yellow card foul

If I didn't know otherwise I'd swear Mourinho was Italian. They scored 3 goals so fair play for that but it's quite incredible how he gets a collection of mega star attacking talents to completely kill and close out a game. Break up the game as much possible, buy fouls and throw ins etc. We've improved light years in closing out games but the Portuguese *word censored* is stll the master at it.

Having said that, United are shite. Opportunity well and truly missed up there.

You just knew what was going to happen at 1-0. United were probably playing the better stuff but not creating anything of note and despite Luiz rampaging around like a rugby player on a yellow card Chavs were inevitably going to go up the other end and grab a lucky or sloppy second.
