Isn't Draxler out injured for a few months? Would make little sense to lose Pod and acquire someone who can't play for a while, thus making the squad weaker.

That's a rumour I could believe in - wenker clearly doesn't rate podolski so why wouldn't he sanction such a deal ? Personally I rate pod and don't want him to go but the CIC doesn't so I'm not sure how you can dismiss this so easily

Talks broke down last night over a possible swap deal with Fredy Guarin of Inter Milan, but reports in Italy say Juventus are still prepared to let Mirko Vucinic go. Tuttosport suggests there is still a chance the striker could be on his way to the Premier League, where Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham have all previously been connected.
