Groundhog summer transfer window thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I can see him ending up at one of the lower half teams.

He could probably do a job at Sunlun/Palace/. Even Villa, he maybe a complete and utter dench but there is a footballer in there. Needs a disciplinarian manager that will get him to cut out the bo**ocks and stick to what he's paid to do.

Good luck to him

Chuba Akpom gone to Brentford for a month :

the Bees are flying, unbeaten in 15. a good test for him as i'm sure he's gone there to start.

i'm shocked AW hasn't signed yet - maybe he'll sign tomorrow to add to the FA Cup Euphoria after tonight.

Rodders - will your enthusiasm over Natalie's baps be at all dampened by There's Only One's new deal if announced before the 31st ?
I reckon his "enthusiasm" will indeed be "dampened" by Natalie's baps.
Perhaps an example of said mammaries? for those of us that live "down under"
She's not even Sky Sports number 1 my friend !!!

Rodders is in denial there too :D

natalie is typical arsenal quality. she may have looked bright early on in her career but now I see her for what she really is and will never be top quality, but I'm sure sky are prepared to offer over inflated long term deals that aren't justified. I'd go as far as to say she is the worst thing about deadline day :|

We won't sign anyone, Wenger will sign a new contract and Natalie will come up dressed like this (or even worse with a jacket on?) ... this would be Rodders worst 31th January ever. :?

on Julian Draxler rumours…
That again is an illusion. There is nothing happening, honestly no. We have no need on the flanks, we have Chamberlain coming back, we have many players on the flanks. Honestly, I told you in the last press conference, we don't rule it out but at the moment I cannot announce anything to you.

Draxler isn't coming

Have to say Steve O, that I actually believe that draxler is coming - that isn't setting myself up for disappointment cos tbh if he cannot play as a striker then I don't see the point in signing him right now, but I do think that we will sign him this month. I actually wouldn't be the slightest bit surprised if we signed him (spending 30m+ into the bargain) and then loaned him back to schalke for the rest of the season

Not so sure.....one thing I do agree on though is that Monsieur Wrist Slitter will only spend 30 million on a player if he's an attacking midfielder
