That's probably one of the better of the big teams in their. I'd actually prefer their midfield to Everton's. With Skrtel,Sakho and Toure at the back we will have a chance, especially with Lucas missing for 2months.

I am not as happy as I could have been but then again I expected to get chavs/shitty away.

Should actually be a good draw for us. Liverpool are powderpuff away from home and it's a great chance to dump them out because they would be far trickier to draw away or in a semi at a later stage - if we win this the last 8 looks very enticing with only one of Chelsea/Citeh and possibly Everton to seriously contend with.

Unfortunately the fixture list is Liverpool (A), United (H), Liverpool FAC (H) Bayern (H) all in 11 days. Guess which competition is getting sacrificed?

I'm not joking - I would far rather see us play a full team against Liverpool and rest players against Bayern. Don't care what the rest of Europe thinks, we are going to get trounced in that tie whereas we have a very real chance of winning the FA Cup. Sadly no chance of it happening.

I can't wait :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Means the Bayern game will now definitely not be a sell out. Who would want to fork out upwards of £70 to watch them spank us again.
With Utd on the Wednesday I can see this either being a 1730 on the Saturday or a 1300 Sunday.

This. Great draw for us (expect that I can't afford it, but who cares about us plebs?)

Liverpool will almost certainly be on the Sunday as City play Barca on the Tuesday.

99% this will be on Sunday since Man City v Chelski has to be Saturday because they play Barca the following Tuesday.

I wonder what the odds are on Kos getting a red card against Palace at the moment?

Do you think dates and kick off times will be confirmed early this week?

Any chance both us vs Lpool and Man city-Chelsea could both be televised Saturday games?

What a shame our £60m deadline day signing will be cup tied and unable to knock out his old team

possible.

I think ITV might get the Saturday evening game next round and will want the Arsenal v Liverpool game.
BT sport would then be forced to show City v Chelsea on Saturday lunchtime
