If we had been advised to pay £50 mil then he would be an Arsenal player, Wenger was badly advised.

If the bid had been 50mill then I agree Suarez would be playing for us.
But the bid was an insulting +1 pound and an "arent I clever" move to unsettle the player that backfired spectacularly.

Thats what I'm trying to say, Wenger was badly advised about the buy out clause and Liverpool thought it was a piss take.
I believe Wenger would of paid 50 or 60 mil.

Thats where I disagree.
Im not sure Wenger was ever going to buy Suarez, or Higuain for that matter.
Give the illusion that were in for big name players to keep the board off his back? Now thats a different matter.
