Pat Rice MBE

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

All the very best Pat. Still remember being a nipper in 1979 when he lifted the FA Cup aloft at Wembley........a true Arsenal man. Lets hope he makes a full recovery

Just to echo what has already been said, best wishes and speedy recover to Pat :barscarf:

Keep fighting.

He knew he wasn't the best player when he was a youngster, so decided that he would more than make up for it with his determination and hard work.

Always remember a great 3rd eye on Soccer AM when a ref gave a decision at Highbury and in the background you can see Pat take his glasses off and pretend to hand them to the ref!
Arsenal through and through.
Keep fighting son
