4th place scramble with scum here we come!

have we been sold a lemon in ozil or first season syndrome, or are we expecting too much from him to lift what wasn't a very good side last year?

top of the league but with a thin squad, 99% of teams would go out and strengthen as a show of intent and ambition. we do f all.

yet the sheep will be happy

houses built on sand blah blah blah

fuck of you stupid blue croc

Well, point gained in the end I think

Not going to go overboard, one thing that bothered me though is why Monreal is in the team ahead of Gibbs who has barely put a foot wrong all season. Shame we couldn't hold that lead for longer then we did, a bit unlike us this season really.

Whoever signs Shaw has got England's left back for the next 15 years.

Lucky to be 1-0 at half time and then criminal to have them on the ropes and then throw away a goal.

Tactically wrong, no surprises. A few players were poor but Monreal just looks like a rabbit in the headlights to me, just not up to it. You're not going to have two quality players in every position but your back-ups at least have to be solid and confident.

Flamini was just an utter cock. Utter utter utter utter cock. If he'd got sent off for a stupid second yellow or a misjudged professional foul that'd be one thing but he's been threatening to let us down like this all season. It was a dreadful tackle, glad he didn't really catch the bloke.

2 points dropped without doubt but given our first half performance, the way we threw away 2 goals and the way in which that clown let us down we could easily have lost on another day.

I think we should sign him. He's a better option than either of our LBs.

Our activity in the transfer market in the next couple of days may well point us in which direction we are going......oh dear

Soton totally bossed and controlled the game tonight, looked like they wanted it more tbh.

Ozil looking more and more average with each match, diminishing impact and very little end product... worrying!

And you're shocked ? :o He has always had that "not enough brains to fill an m & m" mentality and a few of us predicted this earlier in the season

Ozil was dire first half today, picked it up a bit in the second half mind. Seems like a simple ball for Cazorla's goal but his ability to keep his cool and pick out the right ball instead of firing it aimlessly or running down a dark alley is uncanny. Also very unlucky not to score after a great run at 2-2 and a few times towards the end he did very well to hold the ball up and give us some respite.

Not the barnstorming performance we know he's capable of and certainly don't want him to be a fairweather performer but the way we set up is hardly conducive to getting the best out of anyone. I expect a lot more out of him going forward because he is such a class footballer and he is capable of taking any team apart but even when he's not doing that his use of the ball is consistently quality and goes largely unnoticed.
