Groundhog summer transfer window thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Been much less painful than the last window, this time I've just made Steve O my main pundit, that way anything at all is a surprise.

I can see Ivan now on Saturday "We made the best signing of the window, another 3 years for Arsene at a trillion per year, we're now skint." :(

Also seeing as viviano hasnt come close to getting a game yet, why would we allow our 2nd choice keeper to go UNLESS we are making a move for julio cesar :rubchin: (still believe that it is a sin that we didnt sign him in the summer :x )
I just checked. Fabianski is 28 years old. For some reason I keep thinking of him as some very awful hot prospect for future. How a goaly that awful could stay at our club for so long.

He is serious, and don't call him Shirley.

Quartz, after the Cup Winners Cup final in Copenhagen we slept rough in Tivoli gardens to be woken up literally by Leslie Neilson !!!!!!!!!!
That's crazy!
Much as I thought he was one of the funniest people ever to have lived, If I slept in Denmark I would rather wake up next to Brigitte Neilsen.

Maybe they need another keeper?
Hardly a major loss for us.
We should throw in Park, Miyaichi, Frimpong, Djourou and Diaby too whilst we are at it, get another quarter of a million off the price.

Too true , Brigitte was a top bird in her day , but its not often you get woken up ,sleeping rough , and yes there is Leslie . He was doing a european tour promoting 99 1/3 and he came over to say hello , others must have seen him the day after the final

John Cross was asked if he expected Draxler to be an Arsenal player by close of play tomorrow.
His answer? Maybe

John Cross was asked if he thought Arsene Wenger was the second coming of Christ. His answer? Most definitely.

Anyway Steve's told us he ain't coming so there's no point in looking at his You Tube compilation.(Mind you, Eboue and Santos could probably post 5 min clips of their 'skills' too)

Breaking News: SteveO Sports report that Draxler isn't coming. Arsenal have confirmed however that he may well join their virtual squad at a later date to team up with Yaya Toure, Ronaldo, Drogba, Higuain and Goetze
