Bayern game possibly not included as Cup Credit ?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

So lets get this right Bayern subsidise their fans tickets while Arsenal charge Cat A prices.Arsenal are football's version of the energy companies. This game is not on the ST so fans do have a choice whether to pay £62-£125 for a ticket. Its live on TV of course.Time for a boycott against the robbing bastards 24 hours after the Puma deal

On the plus side, I've heard that the Bayern game has been included as one of my absolutely not fucking interested in the slightest credits

Can't believe how much we've been screwed over for this one. It's absolutely disgusting. Close to £100 to watch us get swatted aside by Bayern after another 'jaded' performance; I don't know why I bother.

And to think the club had the cheek of trying to gain a bit of good PR by making Liverpool a category B fixture despite the fact that it would do absolutely nothing for the 40,000 season ticket holders who had all ready 'paid' for it. No saving for us there at all.

It's enough to make you despondent. They just don't care at all.

Trouble is that if season ticket holders opt out then their seat goes on sale to red & silver members or general sale and will no doubt sell.

Best maybe would be for season ticket holders to hold on not opt out and not go- that on TV would possibly cause some embarassment to the club to have the champions of Europe witnessing banks of empty seats.

Idly lookrd at centrally placed club ticket on the ticket exchange for the Weds manure match with the tube strike beckoning- £280 I think. No doubt that will sell too- total utter madness

My problem is that as this is my first season as ST holder I'm very unlikely to opt out. These games where we lose 3-0 to the holders is the reason I became a ST holder :barscarf:

The club have well and truly had us over again. Not content with putting ST prices up by 3%, they hit us with these extortionate prices for the big games at the back end of the season. (Its already a bit of a scam taking the money from us upfront for the early rounds of the cups when there is a chance the take up will be low.)
What really rubs it in is the total lack of understanding from the club. Not only do silver and red members have 5 home games in Feb and 3 of those are Cat A but ST holders also have the extra cost onto next years tickets.
And to finish it off Bayern subsidise their fans costs. Unbelievable!!
I'm sure they'll be a tourist somewhere to fill my seat against Bayern but £1100 for my seat next season is more than enough to watch football. You have to draw the line somewhere and and £75 for a last 32 game is taking the piss.
Unfortunately i wont be there.

For my sins, I am actually going to this game, for the princely sum of £75 to sit in the upper tier in the clock end.

If it's anything like the Dortmund game, I can't wait to be told to sit down and watch the match while the Bayern fans down below go mental, and the undercover German fans in the upper tier celebrate them scoring while the stewards do nothing.

(FYI, was sitting in the back row. That wall must have complained to someone).

What a club, what class. :barscarf:

yeah not only are the Bayern supporters in the cheaper area of the stadium with a better view they are also getting subsidised for comning. (and they will beat us easily as well!)

this game really does make Arsenal supporters look like complete mugs.
I will certainly not be one of them.

I've been ''kindly offered'' my own season tickets (2) by my caring club for £78 each! Fuck off!

And people wonder why we moan about our board on here? Ticket price increase announced, £78 for Bayern whose own fans are being subsidised, whopping great deal with Puma announced.......and we made a profit in the transfer window still

season ticket holders MUST not go to this game

a message really does need to be sent to Wenger and the board
a full house for this match will mean nothing changes - a half empty stadium and heavy defeat and even Kroenke might have second thoughts of giving a new contract to Wenger

just looked and tickets are now available in 17 blocks for this already.

I am still not in the slightest bit tempted to buy a ticket.

just had another look on ticket exchange

you can now pretty much sit where you like next week for this.
but at £62 for the cheapest ticket the club can fuck off. I actually feel sorry for anyone who is going.
