That's the point. In the last few games we've not had many attempts on target.
Slow tippy tappy build up, defence gets back, we run out of ideas.
All season we've looked most dangerous playing at pace. Recently we've been strolling about.

Long time ago I read a newspaper report on Juventus (then with del Piero and Inzaghi etc) who'd just lost to someone who'd been more direct, and had played them off the park. Italian journo said they were "pleasant little dwarves".
Made me laugh. Sometimes that phrase comes to mind with our attack, well apart from big Olly to be sure. And Podolski if he plays.
Palace will do the usual Pulis (no suitable emoticon for that guy) physical bus-parking like West Ham did to Chelsea.

Which is why you need to attack with pace and purpose, take people on, get them to make challenges in or around the box, not make it easy for them by having slow build up, enabling them to regain position and bodies behind the ball. Take em on, run at them, Ox, Gnabry, Rosicky, Santi, Ozil all can do it if they are allowed to.

Turning the big 3-0 in the next couple of days....so annoyed this has been moved to Sunday 4pm had a big dads/lads day on the Shindlers list planned!

Still, just means a boozy Sunday and a Monday off work :barscarf:

We are due to give someone a tonking soon - but cant see it against Pulis....went this time last year for Stoke 1-0 a deflected free kick - one of the worst games of football ive ever been too, i think the ball was in play approximately 12 minutes in each half haha!

I have no doubt we'll win this game, but we'll then be bent over the next month :banghead:

I am worried about this one, hopefully without foundation. Much as I detest Pulis,he has clearly galvanised Palace and they will be lifted/inspired by the 4/5 new recruits he sorted yesterday. We,on the other hand, are hugely underwhelmed by the loan signing of a ''mature'' Swedish whatever he is.....and that's it. So bitterly disappointed :cussing: :banghead:

We'll beat Palace. Especially if the Mad One gives Pod a game. The rubbish performance against Soton (Ozil apart) should wake us up a bit. I'm more worried by who gets injured next with Pulis's favourite way of playing us ie kicking everyone.

Lump on SteveO's bet of the day......a 3-1 win with Giroud clattered and out for six weeks which will give the king of self harm the opportunity to blame 'exceptional' or 'special' circumstances on the collapse that will follow

You can see it coming, giroud suffering a serious injury tomorrow and then the moby in charge coming out with shit like we have bendtner and podalski who can play in tht position.

Is the postman back in training yet :banghead:
