As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Yep, because he's always paid the price for his transfer debacles hasn't he?
Wenger's new contract is coming
Different this time as we are in with a decent shout of challenging for the title as opposed to loitering about in 4th, 5th, 6th.
I predict angst not seen since Villa at home once the wheels come off and coupled with the buffoonery of this window there are toubled waters ahead for the Turnip.

Remind me where we in February / March 2010......oh yeah, top of the league after beating West Ham. Where did we finish? Did Wenger resign / get sacked ?
He is making Kroenke millions of pounds every year.....probably more than ever this year. Contract signing imminent

rodders - the spin machine will go into overdrive during the next 2 months of capitulation.
we will then win the last 5 league matches to win the 3rd/4th placed trophy
I guarantee you that by May most supporters at the Emirates will have forgotten about any possible title challenge this season.
Gazidis will come out with his annual "we have so much money to spend that we will compete next season with Bayern Munich" line.
everyone will renew their season tickets in expectant anticipation and then we might sign someone if you are lucky on summer transfer deadline day

I was actually feeling ok when I logged on here this morning, Natalie is on later, maybe we'd make a sigining to improve the squad. But you lot have driven me to absolute despair. Thanks a bunch, I'm broken
The child who wakes up on Christmas morning to find Santa didn't deliver any gifts despite lots of empty hope and promises. As Arsenal fans we always want big name signings, that's natural, but I cannot help feeling that we are not just missing out on a big signing but we are also going to miss out on a chance to win a trophy this season, because A) a big name would bolster the squad quality wise and B) a big name would bolster the squad confidence wise. It would send a message of intent to opponents and us supporters alike. But what do we know
all makes sense just in time for the febuary collapse
win on sunday against palace just
then maybe a draw against liverpool away
then beat by the mancs with matta van persie combo
and munich dont bear thinking about
happy days
You know what, I really thought we were going to get someone of note. I wanted to come on here and ram all the " he's not coming" lines down Steve's throat. Turns out he was right all along.

No matter how much I prepare myself for this, it still pisses me off. Arsenal football club is a disgrace, rip fans off, and give us nothing in return. We sign Ozil to guarantee a top four finish, but now that it looks guaranteed, we aren't going to sign anyone. Fuck off Wenger, you prick.
If that's true, the man is a *word censored* of the highest order. It's not your money you massive french fuck.
This.
Why must he fuck everything up.
It's not your money you old hasbeen *word censored*, now fuck off and let someone who will spend the money we have come in.
I used to fully believe that he wasn't getting the money to spend but now I fully believe we have the money but he won't spend it because he "disagrees with money in the modern game"
You'll believe the Mirror?
On the Mirror's masthead should be the motto: We make this up as we go along.
It's not that I believe the Mirror
I believe Wenger makes every single decision therefore I believe he is the one that fucked up the Draxler deal due to him not wanting to pay the asking price.
