Kim Kallstrom - the saviour? Arsene knows

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Kim Kallstrom - the saviour? Arsene knows

Post by Red Gunner »

Arsène Wenger said: “Kim Kallstrom is a hugely-experienced player. He is a midfielder with proven quality at both club and international level. We welcome Kim to Arsenal.”

Kallstrom spoke to Arsenal Media as he completed the move and said: “Arsenal is an amazing club with a lot of great players and a coach who has done really well here for a long time. I am so pleased to come here to learn as much as possible. I’m here to do my best for Arsenal and to help out the team, so we can achieve good results for the last part of the season.”

Kallstrom is younger than Ibrahimovic and he has more caps than him!

And he is actually Messi's older brother. Just look at the resemblance and the brotherly handshake:

all joking aside, i do hope the lad does well. I don't who the fuck he is and why we bought him but i still think he deserves to be made welcome.

He's not a striker, is he? Weird signing.
Remember him from his day at Lyons though, he was a very good player.

He was a very good player a few years ago. He was a regular starter for Olympique Lyonnais, including for big matches in Champions League.
However I don't know what he is worth since he left Lyon.

It's not Özil quality, but he's a player with a lot of experience. Let's hope he contributes to the title this year
