Expecting Arsenal to win the league at the moment, is a tough task, with the money City and Chels have spent, its like asking Atletico madrid to win the spanish league against Barca or Real, and everyone knows its not going to happen.
I won't argue with your point about the money of those 2 but we still have a LOT of money available and could have bought 2 or 3 players that could well have won us the league or at least made us genuine contenders.

I have a felling that we will be scrapping for a top 4/5 position, not 1st unfortunately.

It's not like that at all. Our decision to not buy a striker in the summer and January is not due to financial restrictions.

The money is there, evidenced by not only our bulging bank account and commercial deals, but also by signing Ozil for £42m and our pursuit of Higuain, Suarez and Draxler.

If we continue to run out of steam as the season goes on due to lack of attacking options, and an over reliance on Giroud, then it is a managerial mistake and not because we haven't got the funds to find a better striker than Bendtner.

The make up of our squad i.e. many creative midfielders and one striker is Wenger's choice and shouldn't be mistaken for a lack of money.

I'm confused by the idea that we can't compete with real Madrid n Munich ?????

Real are an association and neither of them have billionaire owners do they ?

So that fact we don't is just poor management, nothing else.

When Real bought bale they HAD to sell Ozil to balance the books, so to say we can't finacially compete is bullshit.

We choose not to compete.

It isn't about whether we actually win the league or not, its about whether the club are willing to put in the effort in the transfer market, to give us a chance to win the league. Spending yesterday, completing a deal for a second rate swede is not effort, its also not effort to scramble around at the last minute trying to complete a loan deal for a striker, when we all knew we needed one, for months, this is the sign of a badly run club. Also can anyone say Berbatov would have been a bad signing considering the shit we have at the moment?

I don't think we'll be scrapping for 4th or 5th, I think we will finish 3rd.
Hopefully we will surprise everyone and win it.

Dont doubt for 1 min that we wouldn't pay the money for a top striker, its finding one that a club wants to sell and the player wants to come. Imo we should of given RVP what he wanted to stay.

Berbatov would of been OK until summer on loan, but doubt very much that's we he or Fulham wanted.

Sadly is true. On bbc text.

Always a risk when you sign just one player. That's why we should sign 4-5 every window.

Utter morons

There is only one explanation for Wenger's odd behaviour during the transfer window.
He is going to PSG in the summer and his first signing will be Draxler.

starting laughing hysterically when I heard the news. What a total muppet - signing an unfit player who hasn't played for months. For this kind of judgement he's going to get £24m.

Assume we can send Kallstrom back if he's only going to be fit for a month? Although can't see Wenger doing that. Too sensible. So Diaby has another highly paid ping pong partner.
