Re: Club agrees loan move for Kim Kallstrom
actually the funny thing is that people are surprised.
Kim is very injury prone player and nobody in sweden thinks he'll be fit enough to even play 10min of PL football until march/april and with this injury Diaby have more chance to get games, that's what makes this transfer so odd.
a perma-crooked,Legs-gone,makes BFG look like Usain Bolt in a sprint, defensivly inept.
I personelly think it's positiv for AW if his injured for the rest of the season b'cuz if he let's him play the world would laugh at him.
A little fun fact: Kim and Arteta had a crazy fist fight in the playertunnel under a U21 game late 18th century.

Re: Club agrees loan move for Kim Kallstrom
And there you have the real reason. Poor Diaby is getting lonely as all his mates have either been sold or recovered from their injuries, so the club got in this has-been invalid to keep him company in the treatment room, pop round his house to play computer games, maybe take him to the swings in Finsbury Park, watch a couple of afternoon films and just generally look after him.Herd wrote:So we sign a player on loan with a back injury that hadnt played for 3 months and wont play a game until the seasons almost over if of course u think Arsenals medical staff are capable of getting anyone fit.
ROLL OVER DIABY you got company
Re: Club agrees loan move for Kim Kallstrom
can't get the theme tune to the Muppet Show out of my head for some reason

Arsenal trying to dump Kallstrom & return him back to Spartak

Fucking hell, what a farce. Nice one Wenger. I thought the signing of Park was as bad as it got, this manages to top even that!

£10m for a 31-year-old bench warming central midfielder from Spartak?hugh jardon wrote:I wonder if Kallstrom had come with a £10m price tag his signing would've been celebrated? I'm open minded to him as I thought resigning Flamini was dubious but has turned out to be a revelation.
I agree a striker was more obviously needed, but this is typical Wenger, last Jan we were crying out for a striker and he signed Monreal!

I think there'd be even more resentment.

This is criminally negligent. Beyond belief, Im incandescent.
The only positive I can find is that the club realise that season ticket holders have to stump up 3% extra to fund all his rehab
Re: Club agrees loan move for Kim Kallstrom
600 career appearances at 31, averages 46 games a season from the age of 18 indicates he is not injury prone at all.......FreddyTheRed wrote:actually the funny thing is that people are surprised.

I don't believe for 1 min that hes out for 5/6 weeks. If that is the case, who ever signed him should be sacked.BFG4 wrote:You mean nice to read a post that fits your agenda. He has missed approx 19 league games since he joined but bear in mind he joined almost the day before the season started in summer 2012 so to get match fit may have taken 7/8 games plus a few suspensions etc not that bad compared to players like Wilshere, Diaby etc
He hasn't played since mid NOV but they also have had a winter break between 6 dec and 6 march....he's also played over 100 games for Sweden and is clearly no mug and that Swedish tabloid is full of BS it makes the sun look like the financial times.
Re: Club agrees loan move for Kim Kallstrom
I managed to somehow avoid this story yesterday as I had two family birthdays including my youngest......but I nearly spat my morning coffee out when I read. This is a new high for our wonderfully progressive owner and manager.
Arsene doesn't make permacrocks.......he signs them !
I haven't read all the posts on here but even John Cross's lot are tweeting that he picked up the injury weeks ago playing beach football / futsal ??
What a fucking laugh....
ONE ARSENE WENGER......THERE'S ONLY ONE ARSENE WENGER
Get me the needle and thread while I stitch my sides back together

Re: Club agrees loan move for Kim Kallstrom
Arsenal are trying to send deadline-day signing Kim Kallstrom back to Spartak Moscow after discovering that the 31-year-old Swedish midfielder will be out for six weeks with a back injury.
Full story: Sun on Sunday
So are we actually stuck paying this useless *word censored*'s wages as well !!!
PMSL
It gets better and better. No obvious clause that defines whether or not we can return him in this type of event. From the owner, through to the manager, commercial team and medics......we really are run like a fucking circus
