LIVERPOOL AWAY THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I keep reading if we lose this game or if we lose that game, what about if we win all our remaining games, we will be champions :barscarf: Please god let it happen.

"If they don't give the full allocation, they should lose home advantage"

"Practically brand new stadium an they can't accommodate for an extra 3,000 away fans. Disgusting"

I have no idea what the first one means at all.

It used to be that the allocation % for away fans is bigger in the cups than it is in the league games so am assuming that is what they are complaining about ? I havent heard of that rule changing so maybe they have a point but I'm not sure
No matter how many tickets they're allocated they'll rush the barriers anyway

Ha ha but its never their fault :barscarf:

I think these so called experts in the media are underestimating us ( which aint a bad thing i s'pose), we 're a completely different animal to the teams of the past few years.

Gooners to win this one and with it another statement to those who doubt.
Not to burst your bubble, but do you really think we will be top by the end of the season? Id expect us to beat most of the shit teams, but id expect us to bottle it in the big games, we always do. Even if we beat L'pool, we will bottle it against United(even this current united team).
As for Saturday, its gonna be a tight game, 1-1.
Well in fairness we only picked up 1 point from manure, shitty and chavski in the first half of the season but are still top so we must have picked up enough points against the right teams :rubchin:
That is a ridiculous comment, if we lose at the weekend, and City and chelsea win, we are 3rd, every point between now and the end will be cruicial, so to be overlooking games is wrong. Do you expect, what happened in the first 19 games to repeat itself over the season?
Who the fuck are you, a no mark whinging fella is what you are, how about sticking to your own ilk and moan with them.

It's quite simple really in what I posted is correct unless of course you are expecting the chavs and shitty to win every single remaining game, now that's ridiculous
Calm down mate. :(
Really, if you find one of my posts that starts with "that's a ridiculous post" etc etc then please feel free to remind me, I don't slate anyone's posts (apart from Augie's but he and I can get on at each other with no ill feeling  ), what I am fed up with is this sort of "in your face" posting.

99% of my posts are flippant remarks as I would rather make people laugh than be miserable, the toher 1% are more about football and I tell it how I see it, I don't slag off Wenger (although I think his time is up) and try and be civil, not a lot to ask really is it.

On top of that I have had a few wines now as my missus was told this morning that an operation was not successful and she has to go under the knife again as soon as possible so all in all I may not be so tolerable.

Anyhow feel free to eject me from the forum if it helps, I really couldn't care a fuckin toss, I use it as an escape from everyday shitty life but now that seems to be no escape whatsoever.

Nobody is talking about ejecting you mate, just wanted you to stop using the personal shit "no mark, whinging fella,". Truly sorry to hear about your better half and I hope you get better news soon.

You are a legend Augie 8)

I am just so fucked off, our last 3 years have been nothing but absolute shite, I am by nature an optimist (coming from a huge family who had no money but lots of love and humour) and I always sa its gonna get better, the missus had an op after problems on the 30th Jan, her dad died 2 weeks later and toda her doctor rang her at work to say it wasn't good and she need sot go back to them thursday and booked in for another big op.

In the morning it will seem better I hope but for now I am just angry at it all, we are good people, if anyone on here met my wife, firstly they would say she is beautiful (the most beautiful girl in the world) the second after talking to her they would say what a lovely lovely person she is, the life and soul of a party and the first person to turn to when you need some help.

When she rang me this morning after hearing from the doc I did what I should doand reasssured her that all would be fine and we will get through it, I put down the phone and sobbed because I know what it could really mean.

She's all I've known and loved and I am absolutely lost.

Sorry to anyone I have upset today.

Thank you Lee1, BFG4 (don't worry mate it wasn't a good day) and Chippy, your thoughts mean a lot.

Apologies to everyone for being emotional on a forum but coming from a very hard area and being one who has always hid his feelings I just see this as a massive release and your responses humble me no end.
