THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I don't dispute that......it's just that you managed to make your first 151 posts without saying it in every one :D

This thread needs a popcorn smiley

The title of the thread doesn't help

You can be For,Against or middling.

Lots on here are middling but getting fed up.

I wanted us to do well at the start of the season and put faith in Bould sorting us out at the back and hope we would build on a not so fortuitous lea at the top but in the summer whilst being pleasantly surprised at the purchase of Ozil, I remember doing a foul mouthed rant on the transfer thread at the inability to buy a striker.

The chickens are coming home to roost as yet another window closes and the cracks appear again.

My optimism for this season all rested on AW either winning a trophy or f**king off if he failed to win one and since that looks unlikely now thanks to this new contract, I am now from the middling to definitely against.

I despair at what he has done to his legacy by being too stubborn to change or not leaving at the right time. He seems determined to stick around till he wins a trophy, something I now have to admit will NEVER happen again under him.

I hope he quietly exits during the World cup if the inevitable silverware drought continues but I won't hold my breath.

8-2, 6-3, 5-1.

Wenger only knows how to be meek and defensive against the big boys away from home.

Whenever he tries to go at them he fails big time.

No shape, no discipline, no preparation & no tactics and he calls the players ' widen and niaive'

Non-believer since 2011.

Wenger out, Bouldy in !

Oddly enough, I thought we were too open and gung-ho at Citeh. It was schoolboy stuff.

Too meek at United and simply not ready for a football match at Anfield.

Yet more groundbreaking territory for Arsene. How can he honestly pretend we sare making anything other than superficial progress?

Its been so obvious for years we'll never win anything under him again. The one thing he can do to remotely redeem himself is prioritise FA Cup but be sure we'll play a weakened side in a trophy we can actually win.

is there any chance that the Emirates crowd might actually turn on Wenger if we don't win any of the next 3 at home?

Seems like no-matter how long we go trophyless, how many record defeats or shit results we have he wont be sacked.
Also looks like he doesnt have the decency to resign. Rather hed prefer to persue his own agenda at the expence of the clubs success.
The only thing to get him out is fan pressure but for some reason the will just isnt there to do it. :(

Sadly no - in the recent past there has been a large number in favour of forcing le cock out but most didn't want to display that at a game, but this season many of them have gone back to believing in wenker again so if the protest didn't happen before now, then you can certainly rule it out unless our collapse leads to a below 4th finish

For the record I am still 1 million percent against le cock and want him forced out in any way possible
