As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
If Podolski doesn't start for this one, he should just pack up and go on holiday. He looks our only real source of goals but The Great One won't pick him. Media don't even ask why.
If we play like we did last night (aka "nervous" ) they will kill us again. Then Bayern will. Then Wenger will get his next £24 mill.
Very apprehensive about this one- surely best chance of winning the FA Cup for years, just wish hope and even pray that Wenger sees this. A full team should beat then as per last home game, though Coutinho was only just returning then for them.
Never mind Kalstroms back- has anyone done an MRI on our manager to see whats changed in his brain from 9 years ago to now
How depressing is it seeing fans have had to resort to calling for the useless, absolute POS Danish lump to start in such an important game?
Please, please, please, whichever nebulous deity is out there, please work one last miracle and get the clueless, arrogant, spent dinosaur out of our club. It's all gone so stale now and new manager, who's hungry, has a clue, is shrewd and astute, and most importantly, can offer some motivation after our lot embarrassingly crash from title contenders to 4th place glory, will be needed next season to restore some semblance of hope and belief in our players and fans alike.
Interesting that the OP mentioned "revenge" in the first post, as David O' Leary was asked about this on BT Sport before the game last night (he answered that beating them on Sunday would indeed constitute revenge). Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but I disagree for the following reasons:
a) As far as I can tell, there's no ill will towards Liverpool for the way the game went down on Saturday. We were ultimately responsible for our own downfall, and need to look solely at our own performance. We weren't cheated out of the game, we inflicted the damage on ourselves. In fact, by not accepting this, it's essentially an act of denial.
b) Beating them in the fifth round of the FA Cup doesn't replace the three league points that were lost. Personally, I don't think we'll win anything again under AW (understatement), but if I were following the season with a straight face, then the three points would have been much more valuable than the cup win, IMO.
the denial was wenger claiming the loss was 'an accident"
if / when we get thumped by them again, i'm going to just love his next excuse i know - and the weak journo's who are afraid to ask 'is this another accident Arsene ? '
8-2,6-3, 5-1, 4-0. Wenger has more accidents that a diarhetic toddler.

I think the revenge bit is from a player's perspective. You want to destroy the memory of being beaten by a team you just lost to, what better way to do it than dumping them out of the only trophy they can win..
Before anyone says it, they are NOT winning the league. That defence is sh*t, if we had any pace (Rambo/Walcott), I would epect us to continually expose calamity Kolo, one paced Skirtel and the less said about Sissoko the better. But we don't so draw and replay loss.
If they can win the league after conceding 32 goals, then why can't the scum

As much as I hate to bet against us, this is too tempting especially if he rests a lot of players and the victims go full on with rat face etc.
Shall play safe and put a fiver on just in case he decides to stop being a stubborn pr*ck and pick a full strength team.
The summer holiday fund to drown the noise of that none open top bus parade, needs a boost
I put a fiver on United to win and a fiver on a draw last night - guaranteed £5 back
I will be doing the same for all the big games as we are clearly unable to win any of them
