Frimpong

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

What an utter cock - I had no idea he was 24. I thought he was 19.

But judging by all the goodbyes on twitter at least it seems he's played his last game for us.

Good riddance to bad rubbish. Should have never got anywhere near the first team.

Yup he has been transferred thankfully and is off the team list on the Arsenal website :D

Ah I missed that. I thought it must be another pointless loan for him.

I actually feel a little sorry for him, cos the correct answer to ' how to pick up girls in Barnsley' is obviously ' a fork lift ' ...

Poor bloke, not even good enough for Palace or Watford. Thats gotta sting. Lol.

Ya know I always hold my hands up when I'm wrong, but I swear I read this a few days ago :

http://metro.co.uk/2014/01/31/emmanuel- ... y-4285492/

his own country lists him as 24 too..

Btw - he only signed an 18 month deal, so Barnsely weren't completely convinced either.

It's a bit sad in a way, he'd been at the since age 9 but I guess he never grew up. Who wouldn't have half died to pull on the Shirt just once eh ?

Unlike Yennaris who took a step back and signed a 2 1/2 year contract with an up n coming club n manager that might be in the championship next year, and may well make a decent living as a journeyman in the lower leagues, you have to think the kids done really don't you ?

Yennaris' debut was described as 'solid, steady, did the simple things cleanly' btw

A bit of a contrast even now.

Metro and the Ghana website have it wrong.
He is same age as Wilshere, 22, they were in the same teams together all the way through the academy to the reserves.

As for Yennaris, we should have kept him (or recalled Coquelin) until the end of the season instead of messing around with the last minute Kallstrom farce.

Keep footballers and Hip Hop apart, very apart, they just do not mix.

But MCs can dip into football, that works.

Where's the clown who was on here calling us all an 'absolute disgrace' when we dared to question the abilities of the six game legend after err...six games?

Hm...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Age_fraud_ ... n_football

You never know  It would explain why he looked promising as a "19-year-old" and then failed to progress.

Jaysus, he looks closer to 61

Why is this on the footballer formerly known as Dench's thread
