FA CUP THREAD Liverpool

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Should Sanogo play, I hope he does well. I'm not going to hold my breath though.

FFS! Why rest a keeper????? Bob Wilson was on the radio yesterday talking about how he played all 74 games in 1971! And Jenko and Monreal full backs, Arteta and Flamini in the middle, disaster waiting to happen! I hope I'm wrong but this could be bad!

That team he has selected to play Liverpool in the only competition we CAN win is nothing short of a fucking disgrace.

It is we'll known Liverpool struggle to defend at pace so he plays Flamini AND Arteta to slow the game right down.

Also starting the postman ahead of Gnabry who will be nowhere near match fitness is a Joke.

Cannot see us winning this with that team.

Thanks again you arrogant french fuck , once again not giving a shit about what the fans want

Afternoon all.

If we lose this due to changing pretty much everyone so we can rest them for Bayern then I don't know what the point of all this is anymore.

The FA may as well scrap the FA cup now as no-one in management seems to give a flying fuck about it now.

If you don't laugh you'll cry, literally.

Was debating whether to start drinking now, or after the game. Thanks for making my mind up, Arsene. :barscarf:

I actually feel for Sanogo a bit. Could well be totally unfair on the kid to throw him in today. If it all starts going tits up again there's every chance he'll get singled out and bear the brunt of the frustration towards Wenger by proxy, as the most obvious example of playing a weakened team and underlining the lack of signings in January etc. However shite he's looked in the few minutes he's played so far he doesn't deserve that. Hung out to dry like a Saddam Hussein body double.

Obviously if he scores I reserve the right to say I knew it was a great choice all along. :barscarf:
