FA CUP THREAD Liverpool

I'll agree with that - we have a bit more drive in us today and that is heartening although I do think that they took over for the last 20 minutes of that half. The ox isn't seeing as much of the ball and podolski is having to defend more so we will need to step it up again. Am worried about how we might react if we concede

He likes a chest control doesn't he? I would like to see him get a clear cut chance, he doesn't strike me as the most clinical finisher.

I'd like to see this too.

chamberlain and arteta the stand out performers so far but sanogo looking way of the mark. yet to put his own stamp on the game, i hope he'll deliver, because he has the potential to be first class.

Anyone think we'll have another shot on target in the 2nd half?

Credit to Sanogo, he's battled really well, but he doesn't half have a touch of the Gervinho's about him. Loved seeing him swat that twat Agger away. :barscarf:

Great to see Ozil sprinting all the way back with Sterling at one point. Arteta seems to have found found a second wind. Where has this intensity been? Pressing and passing with purpose. Direct running (especially from Ox). It's far from perfect, we're still getting opened up far too easily with one ball but cant complain about the effort.

I don't think he is, a bit too lanky and lightweight to be truly effective but he's here for about 4 years so might as well get used to him :banghead:

Will have to if we want to progress today, can't see us keeping a clean sheet.

Did everyone see that attack when Özil tried to shoot but it was blocked? HE made a shot! I couldn't believe it :barscarf:

Have to imagine Rodgers will be looking to exploit the acres of space down our left hand side though. Wouldn't be surprised to see Sterling move over to their right more in the 2nd, especially with Monreal walking a tightrope.

Sanogo is so reminiscent of Adebayor when he first joined us it's untrue.
