Just got back....we deserved it in my opinion. Good atmosphere in 2nd half. Howard Webb was a fucking disgrace....didn't get a view of dippers penalty claim,am told it was. But how did Gerrard stay on?! Listened to Danny Kelly on way home on TalkSport. Usually like the guy,even if he is a scum supporter,but he was a complete tool....dippers were the better team?! ....not the game I saw. Anyway we are through...nice sun shine day with my boy at the bowl,couple of guinesses, Sweet

For all their whining, Gerrard should have gone and that little prick Sterling should have gone for laying hands on the ref. Funny how it was as bad as murder when Petit did it to Paul Jerkin' Durkin all those years ago. Oh, well. We win and they get to play the victims again. Suits everyone I suppose.

They missed a few sitters and had the peno turned down but the actual penalty was softish and Sterling & Gerrard should have been sent off so fuck em.

Dunno if I loved or hated that game.
Lots of obvious positives, particularly the keeper and The Ox finding some good form and looking strong.
But lets be honest they did look loads more threatening than we did and hanging on at home is not good for the nerves.
As I said on the other thread, Sanogo gave everything but he looked a bit like Bambi on ice on with the ball at his feet and I know he's been out etc but........
