I'm with you Chippy, thought we were exposed frequently and only Sturridge's poor finishing and Fabianski's good display kept us in the game.

A couple of good goals from us, but the majority of the game we were under pressure - we could have created one or two clear cut chances on the break but Santi wasted a great opportunity with an over hit ball to Giroud when he could have kept running closer to goal and released someone in with a ball on the deck than a very ambitious attempt.

Not complaining it was a good back to the wall display and gives players and fans alike a great boost but we didn't outplay them at all.

Rested 4-5 key players and still beat them!! :barscarf:
But the players we brought in are better the ones we rested - Ox and pod won it for us.

Jenko made some crunching tackles and worked his socks off too.

Just looking at the thread for the fourth round and guess what ? the victims got away with a blatant penalty shout against Bournemouth, add in all of Skertel's shirt pulling in the box throughout the season and it's fair to say the gods of football owed them big time...
Arsenal can win the Cup without leaving London and if they do so they will probably have to beat four of the top six along the way. Still think it's a long shot but its good to be there.

The victims had more shots, more chances and probably more possession but we worked our nuts off so fcuk them cos we got the breaks today 8)

I know that I have mentioned it several times already today, but wtf has podolski to do to get a full 90mins under this c*nt ? He worked his bollox off and would have been a better option to stay on than either ozil or wakemeup (both of whom did well today imo). Is he trying to force the man into looking for a transfer ? There is no other striker on our books that would have scored that goal today 8)

Can anyone explain to me the overall thinking behind wenker's substitutions today ? On one hand he brings on Gibbs in midfield so you think that he is trying to go defensive and baton down the hatches (something we ain't great at) but on the other hand he decides (again) to play ozil and cazorla on the pitch at the one time and we can't afford to have 2 luxury players on the pitch when the game is on the line :? Is it just me or are both of those decisions contradictions of each other ?

The victims must have been reading from the AW book of bullshit to say when you lose game. these were 2 gems from redandwhitekop

"Well Arsenal were very average. We played them off the park. They were extremely lucky with 2 jammy goals from 2 shots the entire game. Not sure Jones did anything besides pick the ball up from the back of the net".

"Arsenal rode this high horse about how amazing their football is. Its quite the change for them now to be battling and being aggressive in order to get a result, while a far more fluent footballing side gets to work".

Have the decency to accept defeat gracefull. Yes your goal keeper had ittle to do but concede twice, FYI we won the game by 2 goals

Oh and now the tippy tappy that you took the piss out of us for doing for years is now the only way to play :?

We won,you lost get over it

Sometimes a good goalkeeper an ounce of luck and an incompetent ref is all you need ,particularly when you screw up your team selection and substitutions !

Great result! :barscarf: So great to beat those diving pricks, especially with Suarez doing a headspin in the penalty area worthy of Turbo from Breakin' 2 Electric Boogaloo... Penalty or not, the guy is a cheating scumbag.

Thought Ox and Ozil were brilliant, as was flappy. Sanogo was better than expected.

Webb had a shocker, but the look on his face when Sterling pushed him was hilarious!

Ozil seemed to have got his groove back thankfully and how Wenger can leave out Podolski ever is beyond me - he's the only pure finisher we have! Flappy was happy (yay i get another game!!).

Great result - not offen you get an opportunity to face your demons so quickly - Liverpool must be wondering what happened last week. F@$k em!

Jesus Christ how old are you and what a good memory. His turn really was like Turbo's. Breakdance 1 was a better film and soundtrack. Is one of the 2 male dancers not dead now?

My tuppence:

There was a rumour Boogaloo Shrimp died but seems they are both alive.
I preferred Beat Street to Breakdance because it had a good soundtrack and the great Melle Mel breakdown rap but of that era of Hip Hop films I think Wildstyle is the best and most authentic, with a classic soundtrack by Blondie's Chris Stein.
