The Yaya Sanogo lack of Progress Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I doubt he has the touch to make it in the long run, but as always with the Arsenal crowd you will be forgiven if you run your arse off. Mr Bendtner take note.
So what do we need up front then? A lazy c*nt with a great first touch or a big fucking oaf with the touch of a rapist who tries a lot? :rubchin:
Combine the two and you've got.... still a pretty average PL forward :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

On a related note we should apply to the FA for special dispensation to play 12 players if 2 of them are Bendtner and Park. Although I'd personally rather take my chances with 10.

We would have to apply for special dispensation if we played Park whatever as he is on loan at Watford till the end of the season

Following Almunia - are they running a hospice for terminally-useless football players or something?

Sadly what we have starting most of our games is a lazy c*nt with the touch of a rapist.

In two starts he is going better than i expected - however that bar was not very high.

He will have his uses over the run in, can win a header as well as Giroud and has better control of the ball than I expected. Against big c**ts like Stoke defenders he'll give as good as he gets.

Not sure he'll ever be a top striker but Heskey was a f**king donkey and he still had his uses.

Put in a shift again, generally found in the right areas and hassled their defenders early on. He's like a proper striker, only minus the ability. It's embarrassing to admit but it's worth playing him sometimes because of his value as a decoy runner and a general hassle to defenders which can help open up the game for our band of creative midfielders unlike Giroud's sluggish performances as he continues his regression back to last season's form.

Unfortunately he is not going to make a career at this level out of charging around at defenders and hoping the ball hits some part of his body and falls to a midfielder to finish off.

That ball he played to Ox after wriggling out of a group of their players was class. I'd play him for the rest of the season. Already better than Giroud and will improve.

Fucking hell where did it all go wrong. Smith, Wright, Bergkamp, Anelka, Henry, RVJP. And now there are people getting a hard on over a French Efan Ekoku, can't believe he's leading the line at Arsenal Football Club. :banghead:

We've had sh*t strikers before him and I daresay we will have sh*t ones after him, it's a tiny sliver of a silver lining in yet another sh*t night. Not a hard on just being thankful for small mercies mate :(

We've fallen futher anyway, this time last year we had been beaten by Bradford fooking City :banghead: :banghead: and one of the worst Blackburn teams of the past 20yrs   with Yaya we are on the up :barscarf: :barscarf:

Apart from that pass to Ox he still looked like a bladdered giraffe on an ice rink. One particular tangle he got himself into when trying to control a corner that fell to him in the first half had me in stitches.
