As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Sanogo doesn't deserve any abuse. It was the twat AW who brought him here, another mission / urge to turn someone who's NOT footballer of a high level into someone who can be - another fn dream of his!
Of course that decision alone isn't why we lost, their 1st goal 10 men or not would still have been scored - hate to say it but it was a cracker! We so need a player like Kroos ...
Trouble with Wenger is he's a stubborn ass hole, he'll stick with him like he's still hopeful ol sick note Diaby can become a legend --- fk orf Wenger PLEASE
whilst for many outsiders Sanogo has been a pleasant surprise and he is better than I thought, although the level expected was low, he still isn't the striker we need.
We really need somebody ready to put balls into the net now. Giroud isn't going to get any better, he is a very limited striker.
I have got out of the habit of prophesying great things for Arsenal youngsters. Vela, Bendtner, Jay 'knocking on the door' Thomas, all rubbish. Let other clubs do the developing and we'll hand them the cash when they're ready.

Time for fun games is over.
If "net" is a euphemism for Katie Perry's furburger then I'm ready.
Talk about a baptism of fire. Not entirely convinced he will be much of a goal threat. He caused Agger all sorts of problems but rarely got in a position to score. Great he put himself a bit, made a nuisance of himself but when a striker does his best work 20 yards from goal it doesn't bode well. Have we got the time and patience for him to start scoring?? Not at this point in this season. If he hasn't scored after the stoke away game, then bench him and we'll have to have bendtner as back up. At least he has scored for us this season.
I hate it when the news reports talk about how he impressed in the U-20 World Championships. The same tournament where Denilson captained the Brazilian team and Senderos was player of the tournament.

That's like a world where monkeys can design jet fighters.
Considering what he looked like when he arrived, which was out of his depth, he looks miles better now and this is after a long injury. I think that he will be a good signing, but it will take some time.
However, he really shouldn't be 2nd choice striker for a team like Arsenal.
Think there is a strong element of surprise and relief wafting around at the minute. Surprise in the sense that he doesn't look as shit as we all expected and relief that whilst he's far from the striker dilemma we needed answering by the end of the last window to see us continue to compete if we are serious about a trophy, at least he remains some what of another option other than the Danish donut up front. Still, big call Wenger throwing him into a CL debut in a game of that magnitude, could have broke him but who knows, could be the making of him in years to come. Judge him in May if he gets enough game time

In the mean time we sacrifice yet another Champions League campaign in the name of player development.
General consensus seems to be " he not complete shit" well hooray for that eh, in 2/3 years he may develop enough to be a viable option but not right now, when it will cost us goals / points / trophies.
We are not good enough to be able to carry players - we could when we had a squad full of world class players take the odd gamble with Wreh etc (but he was our 4th choice striker not our 2nd choice)
